My theory is that Epstein was a free agent gun-for-hire. He sold kompromat to the highest bidder if they were an ally of the US, including the USG who let him operate freely. This would explain the Saudi passport in his possession - he likely acquired kompromat for the Saudis in exchange for money and a passport.

If he was operating with a USG blessing, this puts our government on the hook for massive payouts to victims. It also opens three letter agencies to scrutiny. Which is why you see a bipartisan effort to not reveal too much about Epstein's operation.

So I agree with you but I also wonder why Biden’s Admin didn’t disclose anything and don’t blame this all on Trump. Sheer ineptitude of Biden yet again or are prominent Dems tied up in this too (Clinton comes to mind).

I suspect it’s because Epstein and Maxwell were assets in the intelligence community, both for the US and Israel. And their world was the one that the billionaires and government leaders live in - which is a very different world from normal people. And Biden was obviously very diminished and it was easy for people to run over him. Plus the Clinton connection. And Ehud Barak. I think Biden had a let sleeping dogs lie approach and didn’t want to get anywhere near it.

Trump is more interesting. He totally encouraged the Q Anon community. Probably to get ahead of it. That 13 year old girl who pressed charges recently killed herself. And having Bondi kill all investigations suggests Trump thinks he’s solved his Epstein problem.
