McConnell had polio as a child. He was never going to vote for an anti-vaxxer.

Apparently whatever message Trump gave to the GOP Senators last weekend at Mar-a-lago worked -- Elon and the broligarchs must've promised them lots of dough and social media help for their campaigns. They all fell in line like good little soldiers.

Disgusting. I am disgusted by all of them except McConnell.

Don’t you know Mitch has been in bed with Communist Chinese for decades?

Why do Democrats (and rinos) love Communist Chinese?

The republicans must love the Chinese to death to elect Musk.

Shame on this senate. Shame on them.

Well I'm glad Susan Collins announced she was concerned with his nomination. That was more thought than was given to other crazy nominations.

I should not be surprised (but I was) that Susan Collins believed RFK Jr. when he disavowed everything he used to believe in, to get confirmed. She voted YES to confirm him: "Sen. Susan Collins, R-Maine, voted yes along with nearly all of her Republican colleagues. Collins had said that, despite his criticisms of vaccines in the past, she was satisfied with his testimony in confirmation hearings that he would help restore Americans’ confidence in vaccines and would support development of a Lyme vaccine if confirmed by the Senate." This, after she voted for Brett Kavanaugh for the Supreme Court, because he said he would respect precedent on abortion, and then voted to overturn Roe v. Wade. She still hasn't learned: people will say ANYTHING to get confirmed. https://www.pressherald.com/2025/02/13/angus-king-calls-rfk-jr-a-danger-susan-collins-votes-yes/

She’s up for reelection next year. That’s the only thing she cares about.

RFK Jr seems misguided, with some of the things he has promoted, essentially making people be healthy. What people need is the economic room to make positive choices such as good sleep patterns, the ability to cook a dinner (to have time for that), the time and money to go to the gym (like he does). Stress relief, families being active together.

He can’t make people do this.

He’s a good choice if the goal is to thin the herd. We should see a big jump in illness and death. The republicans won’t need their base anyway once the elections are no longer relevant.
