Relocated a kid from Hawaii and Connecticut for football.
Lacrosse is doing to the same thing. Kids from outside of the area come in for a year or a semester and leave. Only a matter of time before all their freshman find out how the program is run and transfer.

Name a kid / position player who is on SJC varsisy roster from outside the area (60 mile radius).

It’s been documented by the Wash Post the football team has brought players from Hawaii, Philadelphia and Florida to play ball.

Not sure they are doing it for lax though but could be wrong.

SJC's 3 best players are from: Bowie/Great Falls and Silver Spring.

I dont see a player on SJC's roster who is not from DC/MD or VA

It’s cheating for a family to relocate to the DMV and enroll at St. John’s? What about Prep FO guy from Richmond? Was that cheating?

What's your point?

All of those zip codes you mentioned are within 15 - 25 miles of Military road.

Prep the past few seasons brings in a junior FOGO from Richmond and reclassifies the player.

Seems those outside of St. John’s are searching for reasons they can’t beat St. John’s. Your time will come.

What I find comical about the Prep community is they love to point fingers at SJC for illicit recruiting, reducing the tuition for players they really want to land etc. etc.

Prep has been doing the exact same things for decades and hates the idea they are no longer on top of the DMV lax pyramid. Prep has had players on its roster from California, Arizona, Florida, and Canada over the years. I'm cool with it, Prep does have a boarding component. That doesn't mean other area programs that don't have boarding programs, should be shunned if they have families on the roster willing to house a kid for a year or two.

Look at the most recent facts... Prep's FOGOs for the past 2 seasons have been transfers from Richmond privates. The best player on its roster this Spring has played now at 3 different IAC teams in the league - the first time the league has ever seen this.

Prep has a very good team this year but sadly they didn't have the balls to put it out on the line with SJC. Both teams were off yesterday, off today and tomorrow. The CADETS wanted to play but the Lil Hoyas said "no thanks".

I think the key to success for a lot of the prep players including the one who played at three IAC schools is that they always played up in youth lacrosse. My DS is now in college but when he was in youth lacrosse he was on the same teams with these players. They always played up in age and that has helped make them the players that they are.

Yes. That is what the player at prep did that bounced to his 3rd IAC school. He didn’t play up he moved back a year.
