This. Most elementary schools' PTAs meet on the first Tuesday of the month. This could have been ASFS. This could have been Nottingham realizing that their threatening petition didn't have its intended effect in the short-term. Who knows. |

We know it's not McKinley because their PTA is totally asleep at the wheel and most of their families have no clue this is even happening, let alone how it will affect them. Trailers! Trailers! Trailers! |

Nottingham families are starting to back off the whole debate because while they love the school, they also realize that rezoning means they all go to schools with the lowest potential in NW for trailers (Tuckahoe, Reed, Discovery), so they're guaranteed not to go back to the mess of a few years back. You make someone else in NW the option school and Nottingham has the potential to head back to 800 in a few years. |

My husband and I each attended 1 meeting our firstborn's first year.
never.again. Good lord. Painful. We continue to support teachers in every way possible. We are often their favorite parents and stand up for them against administration. But--man---some of those people in those meetings...ridiculous. |
