NBC said the Dateline team is there.

So relieved. My thoughts and prayers are with the friends and loved ones of Joe and Christine, esp little V. I’m so glad you got justice. May their memories be a blessing.

100%. A media attorney representing NBC argued a motion in front of the judge either Thurs or Fri.

I think they're just selfish and stupid. I mean, he moved Juliana into the main bedroom, I don't think he was really thinking about how things might look.

He is such a monster.

Brendan and Juliana do not deserve to serve in a U.S. prison. They deserve a Brazilian prison where they’d get beat up, take cold showers, no A/C, among other things….
2 disgraceful beings. That being said, I’m glad death penalty is not a thing anymore. Death is too easy for them.

Probably because they were afraid she would talk to them about what had been happening to her- that she might talk about the basement, or the relationship between BB and JM, or any number of things.

I hope the CW goes after Tess hard and fast, because that little girl has undoubtedly been gaslit and programmed like no one else. I pray she can be with her maternal family soon and receive the intensive therapy she needs. Unfortunately family law in VA is such a sh!tshow and the fact that the current custody is as it is says to me that they don't have a great judge. They are also so loathe to move a child. Maybe the publicity around the criminal verdict will place some pressure on them.

Do you all think that Christine’s parents or other family members will seek custody of the child? I know it will be hard for her to be moved now but she has been living with essentially an accessory after the fact to the crime, right? If Fairfax doesn’t prosecute Tess for anything related to the case, do Christine’s family have any chance of custody? Have they tried for custody ever in these years?

Maybe family member. Parents seem very old to take care of a kid.

Will Brendan end up at Red Onion or Wallens Ridge? The thought of him slowly going insane in adseg is very peaceful and pleasing.

It’s tough bc BB testified that his daughter talks to him every night. She prob misses him so much. Cutting off contact immediately would prob not be what a judge stands for.
It’s a tough situation there. I’m not even sure what the best approach would be, a child psychologist would be best to follow the case.

Yes, they did. I hope it will be successful now.

They did. Hopefully they or her sister will succeed now.
