I've actually wondered if The Princess Party that posts incessantly here is not Russian powered.

What would be the point? I’m very informed about the troll farms and disinformation but I don’t see the point here.

There really are people who think that royalty aren’t humans with human flaws and take offense to any insinuation that they are. It’s bizarre when their dysfunction is so clearly on display generation after generation.

DP. I take offense at the maliciousness. I guess that makes me a Princess Powerpuff Girl. Bubbles, probably.

DP. The malicious and abusive posts come from The Princess Party.

I don't think those are the ones claiming a woman has been beaten, is in a coma, is getting divorced, her father in law died... (but there are no conspiracy theories in this thread!).

This is crazy! Why in the world is Russia doing this? Sorry to say, but the death of a monach is not really globally relevant, in terms of geo-strategic scheming. Life (and war in Ukraine) will go on. Or are they just bored and like messing with people?

To sow distrust in formal institutions in the West.

Well, King Charles is one of the last remaining Romanov descendants (seriously). Could all be part of the plan to reestablish the Russian Empire.

No. They want to sow in the West distrust of institutions like BP.

To mess with people and, yes, Charles' death would be quite distracting for the UK and for Europe and the US to a lesser extent.

As PP said, to sow distrust in institutions. Russians do not trust their institutions. They do not want others to trust theirs.

But again, the BP doesn't really do anything, so...who cares? I don't buy that it's destabilizing in the least. Plus there's a suitable monarch in waiting, anyway. We just went through this, remember?

MM and Russia collab, obvi.

The very idea of democracy is predicated on accepting shared truths. If everyone stops believing there is a “truth”—ie every photo is fraudulent—that serves the interests of those seeking to undermine democracy in the west. There are real consequences to these deranged conspiracies.

Government and quasi government institutions could certainly never sow distrust on their own. Has to be the Russians!

I hate to mention this as it was very odd but just as covid shutdowns were ending I got a job offer from a Russian woman to do some "easy online work from home". It felt like a scam since I only met her in person once and she was offering me a job, so I didn't follow up. I'm still sure it was a scam but I always have this nagging suspicion it was a real offer and the job might have been to post disinformation/sway social media, then I feel like a crazy conspiracy theorist and push the thought down. Stuff like this reminds me of it all though.

It’s not about the BP per se. it’s about the idea that a formal and respected intuition releases a statement and you reject it for no reason other than distrust in said institution.

This is a well known scam. Your job ends up to be buying gift cards for your boss and wiring your money to your boss.

And this thread shows how very right you probably were.

BP is irrelevant though. Does not seem worth the effort.
