How many times does it have to be repeated here that you are not the target audience for this type of podcast, and therefore it is not going to appeal to you. Most sports talk radio and podcasts are geared towards the type of audience who will make them money (buying the products they advertise) and therefore creating revenue, in this case 18 - 40 year old men. Therefore the topics discussed, the locker room type banter, the way they speak, and language used will most likely not appeal to you if you’re looking for intellectual worldly conversation. Stop listening to it if it’s not your cup of tea.

Yes in fact I do listen to the podcast. He definitely brings more levity to the show but when it comes time to explaining how plays work, how they’re developed, what it means for the game, etc. if you’ll notice he always does a better job than Jason does.

This. I really do not think Matty and Joe are the bastions of worldliness and sophisticated because they happen to be white and have British accents.

Joe, despite his entertainment industry connections has not been successful in his acting career. In interviews his demeaner is pretentious and he withholds information as if he is too good for the entertainment industry. He was also too insecure and threatened by Taylor's brilliance and success. Matty is....Matty. He is a hot mess and its ludicrious to him him serious consideration as husband material.

Travis is self assured, fun, hard working AND mega successful in his chosen profession. He adores Taylor and is happy to entertain her fans and support her. He is a huge upgrade.

I’ve seen Joe’s interviews out of curiosity and he is drab, self impressed and boring. There is no charm or warmth. I can see why Taylor had a difficult time with him. For some reason he seems to have Taylor convinced that he was the catch and that HE was better, more intelligent and more sophisticated than her. She worked really hard to impress him and prove herself worthy of him.

But in reality it seems he is a mediocre actor at best with deep professional and artistic insecurity which made him actively publicly balk at his more successful girlfriend’s accomplishments.

I’ve seen Joe’s interviews out of curiosity and he is drab, self impressed and boring. There is no charm or warmth. I can see why Taylor had a difficult time with him. For some reason he seems to have Taylor convinced that he was the catch and that HE was better, more intelligent and more sophisticated than her. She worked really hard to impress him and prove herself worthy of him.

But in reality it seems he is a mediocre actor at best with deep professional and artistic insecurity which made him actively publicly balk at his more successful girlfriend’s accomplishments.

How many times does it have to be repeated here that you are not the target audience for this type of podcast, and therefore it is not going to appeal to you. Most sports talk radio and podcasts are geared towards the type of audience who will make them money (buying the products they advertise) and therefore creating revenue, in this case 18 - 40 year old men. I am so confused by why Joe Alwyn is seen as some Pultizer Prize winning intellect or artist. He is a D list actor who did not have the self-confidence to maturely manage his girlfriend's success and fame. He also allegedly struggles from mental health issues.

I am so confused by why Joe Alwyn is still being dragged by Taylor Swift fans. Two adults were in a relationship. If he was such a bad match--or bad person! as is posted here--why did she stay for 6 1/2 years? Taylor too timid to leave? Nah. Neither has said much more than a few sentences in the media about each other. What makes you think you know so much about what happened inside their relationship?

I'm not dragging him or rooting against him. I just don't understand why he's almost always assumed as more intellectual and creative than Travis Kelce. What is the evidence? He's not really distinguished himself in acting or fashion. I agree that he's pretty but he might also be pretty dumb.

Joe comes from a British aristocratic family and received European education, which is in a different universe entirely from American high school education, let alone from a jock’s education.
