Entertainment and Pop Culture
How many times does it have to be repeated here that you are not the target audience for this type of podcast, and therefore it is not going to appeal to you. Most sports talk radio and podcasts are geared towards the type of audience who will make them money (buying the products they advertise) and therefore creating revenue, in this case 18 - 40 year old men. Therefore the topics discussed, the locker room type banter, the way they speak, and language used will most likely not appeal to you if you’re looking for intellectual worldly conversation. Stop listening to it if it’s not your cup of tea. |
+100 Who cares about the other guys anyway? Either she broke up with them or they broke up with her, so they're over. What's the point of it all? She's with Travis, has been for about a year, and they seem incredibly happy. |
Also important to note that because he “wrote” a line or two and a few of Taylor songs along with her, she gave him writing credit under a pseudonym, William Bowery and he gets royalties thanks to Taylor. Funny enough if you watch the long pond studio documentary, you see Jack and Aaron sort of side eye Taylor‘s claim that Joe was a good writer. Jack Straight up says “he wrote that?” With obvious disbelief in his voice. It’s obvious they were not a fan of Joe’s which I think volumes considering they spend so much time with her and one of her closest friends. |
+1 I’ve seen Joe’s interviews out of curiosity and he is drab, self impressed and boring. There is no charm or warmth. I can see why Taylor had a difficult time with him. For some reason he seems to have Taylor convinced that he was the catch and that HE was better, more intelligent and more sophisticated than her. She worked really hard to impress him and prove herself worthy of him. But in reality it seems he is a mediocre actor at best with deep professional and artistic insecurity which made him actively publicly balk at his more successful girlfriend’s accomplishments. |
I'm the spineless weasel PP. Much better stated, obviously. This is what I meant! |
Jacks a little odd, saw him on the Today show. Might have been a bad day or interview but he’s odd right? |
Source? |
Not sure why we have to categorize him that way. He couldn’t handle the media … most can’t. He’s a character actor not a leading man… nothing wrong with that. She fell in love with a person and it didn’t work out does it really have to be he was <fillin blank if some horrible thing>. |
Yeah- makes sense they are together. She loves toxic masculinity crap and loves The Man culture despite getting upset when it negatively affects her. He is pretty clearly (through the old tweets etc) steeped in this toxic culture. She is too, hence the Disney princess staged dating scenes (Italy dinner table etc). |
Before I depart, I ask a final question. Favourite Swift song? He laughs. “I’m just not even going to go into that side of the world.” That night, they’ll be snapped hand in hand on a date – fair to say, he already is. https://www.gq-magazine.co.uk/article/joe-alwyn-interview-2018 |
Odd? He's more than likely on the spectrum. |
Seriously, Jesus wept. |
| So what is the update? Are they getting married soon or are they pregnant? |
"No wonder he could keep up with Taylor’s song writing and pitch in on her albums. I'm 💀 from the Swities |
