Josh Duggar arrested and in federal custody

He is not going to skate on this, he will either be convicted or plead guilty, and will spend a significant period of time in prison. The feds are no joke, this investigation has been ongoing since 2019 and they have used that time to make this case airtight. Whatever BS defense he thought he had of some other employee at the dealership being responsible is going to be blown out of the water. Does he really think the FBI hasn’t gathered a mountain of evidence to prove that it was him and not some other employee?

When the feds showed up, he literally asked them, unsolicited, if it was about "someone" downloading child porn. The man has the intelligence of a garden vegetable. "No, officer, I don't know why you pulled me over. Are you wondering if there's a dead body in my trunk?"

And then he tried to insinuate that maybe it was one of his younger brothers, who could have had access. I guess Josiah, who I think was doing some work at the car lot during the dates in question. So not only are you an immoral narcissistic pervert, you try to sully your family to implicate yourself. None of them should speak to him ever again.

That’s how I feel too. Like, he’s going to win this because he claims an employee downloaded it? Hmmm. Ok.

1. I doubt we will hear from Anna. If we do it'll be some statement about how she's continuing to stand by her man and praying as he fights these demons of addiction or something
2. Planned for July but I'm guessing delays will happen
3. He goes to whatever federal prison he's shipped to

So I saw this on TMZ and it is clear that Josh is going to try to say this is all due to porn addiction.

Ted Bundy also tried something similar and we all see how that turned out.

He probably doesn’t give her any excuse. Does he have to? She doesn’t seem to care and her only goal appears to be not having to move back into her parent’s double wide with all her siblings.

My guess is that JB and Michelle will fund Anna and the kids if he goes to prison.
My prediction is that there won't be a trial bc he will take a plea deal for a lesser sentence (maintaining his innocence) rather than go to trial. Maybe I'm wrong and he has enough hubris to go to trial, though.

Wow! I had not read this. I thought he just tried to blame a random employee. That's awful that he would try to blame a younger brother!

It seems crazy that it took almost 2 years to arrest him for this. Would be interesting to know what they do during that time. Concerning that he could have been molesting kids while they were doing whatever they were doing.

Anna may be a complete idiot and continued to procreate - but there is no way he was truthful about the raid two years ago - that family is huge and this would have leaked. There are a few of them with actual morals. He had to have claimed the raid was about something else. Anna is a moron but I don’t think she’d have had more babies with someone about to go to 40 years of jail for child porn - and yes JB and M must be funding the legal fees and Anna’s life now - fortunately for her - her life might actually be slightly better with them than him - he’s probably abusive and a sex addict - at least w them the house is bigger, a few siblings live right there, she won’t be as isolated as she probably was

Also the fact Anna had that software on his computer tells me she might have a slight tiny bit of a backbone - I’m slightly more hopeful she’s going to dump his a@& take the kids and move somewhere away from this insanity
