Which Dem can win general election in 2020?

Comey would be amazing. So poised under pressure. Not tweeting like a lunatic. Not married to an illegal alien.

#LOCKTHEMUP!

The whole family!

I seriously cannot wait till this whole corrupt family is run out of town on a rail. What a bunch of losers/grifters.

What I find most surprising is how relatively low Warren polls, even if she's been campaigning for years at a national level. Lower than Klobuchar, just a bit higher than Harris?

Warren played 2016 badly - encouraging HRC to run but then backing off supporting her until pretty late when all the Bernie people thought she was on his side, so no one ended up thrilled with her. And the DNA reveal right before the midterms was played horribly.

+1

Warren is a big improvement on policy, but I never got the sense that she was a good player in a political fight, which is what is needed no. Her staff problems make me more sure of this judgement about her lack of political instincts.

Anyone on this list would be a huge improvement over Trump. Any sane adult would be an improvement over Trump.

My dog or cat would be an improvement over rumpus.

Why not Ocasio-Cortez?

Sherrod Brown

Low wage “make work” isn’t how to structure an economy.

Incentivize automation via a high wage floor, redistribute capital gains to people with low wages via a much expanded eitc.

The high labor low wage model isn’t sustainable and holds back productivity and innovation.

You have to be at least 35 year old to be president, per the constitution. She isn't even 30.

I love many of the people running but hesitate to vote for anyone over 60 because they're by definition out of touch.

Ironically, I'm more concerned about old people in politics these days. Look at Grassly for example, he's been in Congress longer than most of you have been alive.

Or Pelosi's constant "senior moments." It's embarrassing, Nancy.

+1 Love how the Trump acolytes who want to troll about Ocasio-Cortez dont' even know the basics of the US Constitution.

Um, Nancy just kicked Trump’s $5 billion to the curb, but whatever.

"Concern" over age isn't the issue. It's mandated in the Constitution that you be 35 years old or older to be president or VP.

Josiah “Jed” Bartlet!

Where’s the politician who speaks Latin, smokes cigars, is old and wise, but can still learn a thing or two from a kick-a staff?!

Maybe hiding a medical issue but we can live with that if he or she makes good decisions.
