I agree with this. She is super-candidate

Although I really like Gillibrand and Murphy. And the young Kennedy.

No chance. She is a mini Hillary.

this comment makes no sense to me.

How is Duckworth a mini-HRC?

Anyone who doesn't admit that is blinded by partisanship or a fool, or both.

I want to believe you so badly, but I really think Trump could win again. Of course November 2020 is a long way off. I'm wondering if we could have a 3rd party actually be viable enough to knock the wind out of his sails and lose him enough votes where the dem wins. I also think he doesn't want to be president until age 78 but I think he's too vain to drop out or not run.

I'm still optimistic about the future of our country, despite Trump. Despite the gerrymandering and other games the GOP have played to keep the power structure intact, ultimately most of the citizens in this country are not far right - and I think a number of forces will keep things from going too far in that direction.

Hillary is running. The DNC balked at changing the super delegates and she owns them. The super delegates and consultants will financially squeeze everyone else out and she is running hard already.

She got the most votes last time and it's still her turn.

The only way she doesn't run is if BHO publicly endorses someone else (Biden likely).

But Trump is pretty much locked in.

This is a ridiculous post. I don't think she would run again for all the money in the world. What happened to her was effing humiliating. Like seriously. I don't think she should and I sure as sh$# don't think she will. Bill has also lost a lot of his luster in the last 3 years which would make it even harder.

And I'd also be pretty surprised if Trump wasn't challenged.

I am a democrat that would vote for a monkey over trump but would be appalled if the D's nominated Franken. Almost appalled enough to say eff them all as a woman.

I understand that and I think it would be a mistake to nominate him.

I also think he got railroaded. The woman who accused him conveniently went on to be paid by conservative media. I am not convinced it happened as she claims. I mean, based on the evidence presented, he had to resign, but it is all very suspect.

Seven women. Of varying political dispositions. Are you a man or a woman? I'm really over the brand of liberal man that rises up to defend people like Franken.

Agree, it is insane to think Hillary would run again. If she were younger, maybe, but she's not and totally agree about Bill being more of a problem. I think last time they thought he would be a boost but it's clear it really didn't happen that way and since then he's only looking older, more tired, and had that whole debacle with the Craig Melvin interview about Me Too and ML.

I do think the right would LOVE her to run again but wishing for it and repeating it won't make it so.

OK, I'm going to be honest that I had actually forgotten that the other allegations happened. I was going through a personal crisis at that point and hadn't tracked this as closely as some others.

I just read the Time article about the accusations. several of his accusers were unnamed. I still am not sure even those named rose to the level of him losing his seat. If the allegations are true, yes, he's skeevy. I just still feel like some of this was overblown.

He did the right thing resigning as quickly as he did. He just never had a chance to try to disprove anything.

He didn't really resign quickly. But regardless. I don't want to vote for someone skeevy.
