The actual real Hayfield team crushed them last year. This game is pointless for both teams and unsafe for Annandale.

Let's see if Coach Classy puts his bench in and sits his starters.

Its a smaller HS and they have a smaller football program. They typically have a lot of sophomores on Varsity.

What would you call it?

"Unfairly stacked" is really a polite turn of phrase for whatever this embarrassing mess is.

The score is 44-0 with 5 minutes left in the first half.

All the stars seem to still be in the game as far as i can tell. Appalling lack of sportsmanship.

Sorry, 0-50 now.

What was the score last year?

Marshall is an average team and they had 65 points in the first half against Annandale. Unfortunately, a few of the other National District teams might not be any better.

The real Hayfield team beat Annandale 50-0 last year.

That’s brutal. It’s going to be 100-0.

Most of the seadon is pointless. Annandale, Lewis...

Almost the entire season is teams that the old Hayfield team beat by a mile.

If you were going to build a team of cheating superstars, why not go to the largest class of high school so you could possibly maybe get a few good games?

Annandale is NOT significantly smaller than Hayfield. It's the demographics. Hayfield, Mount Vernon and Edison are the three teams in recent years that have competed for the district championship. They had a 3 way tie last year: Hayfield beat MV; MV beat Edison; Edison beat Hayfield. They all beat all the other teams in the district.

MV is the smallest of the three but almost 40% of the school is either black or caucasian - the demographics that traditionally plays football. Hayfield is 60% combined; Edison is 46% combined. Below is the order that the schools finished in the district last year.

Hayfield - 2215 students. 12% Asian, 28% Black, 22% Hispanic, 31% Caucasian

Mount Vernon - 1878 students. 5% Asian, 21% Black, 54% Hispanic, 16% Caucasian

Edison - 2232 students. 12% Asian, 19% Black, 35% Hispanic, 27% Caucasian

Justice - 2340 students 10% Asian, 10% Black, 58% Hispanic, 19% Caucasian

Annandale - 2185 students. 17% Asian, 14% Black, 54% Hispanic, 13% Caucasian

Falls Church - 2143 students. 15% Asian, 5% Black, 61% Hispanic, 15% Caucasian

Lewis - 1670 students. 21% Asian, 11% Black, 54% Hispanic, 11% Caucasian
