If true, there shouldn’t be any issue getting an impeachment trial and conviction in the House. Let’s see if McCarthy is really willing to spend that much time and capital on this losing proposition.

People who say that “we shouldn’t impeach Biden because then every Congress will impeach every President” don’t seem to realize that from here forward, every Democrat Congress is already going to impeach every Republican President and media will cheer them on.

Trump was impeached because he was blatantly and obviously guilty. The political frauds of the Trump impeachments were the Republicans who knew he was guilty but voted to acquit. Every Republican in the House and Senate knew he was guilty, they just believe that laws don’t apply to Republicans.

+1 And for the second impeachment, a lot of them said that for a President who is on the way out the door, the proper venue was not impeachment and conviction, but prosecution. I look forward to hearing what those members have to say about this indictment.

And, this indictment is pure BS.
It will never survive the courts. You can not prosecute free speech.

You can prosecute fake elector schemes, though. How does that figure into your well-reasoned analysis?

If that were the case, the Barr would have prosecuted it, knocking the democratic nominee out of the race during the election season in 2020. In fact, that isn't the case, and there is ZERO evidence to prove it, much less even suggest it.

And risk being on the hook for election interference? Barr didn’t have the stones to do that

Only if the president does something to warrant impeachment. In the case of Trump, he tried to use his power of the presidency to coerce another country into action that would be of personal benefit; and he caused an insurrection/coup attempt to maintain power despite losing a certified election.

The fact that the GOP impeached Bill Clinton for lying about a blow job is all you really need to know with respect to frivolous impeachments.

Then it is a good thing free speech is not one of the indicted counts.

Have you actually read the indictment? I've linked to it below. Maybe spend a few minutes informing yourself about what it really says rather than relying on RW news and Twitter posts to tell you what it says. Critical thinking is an important skill in life.

Archer is supposedly going to be discussing Hunter Biden's shady business dealings in Russia and Ukraine as well as the alleged $10 million bribe the Biden family took from Ukraine.

Archer worked very closely with Hunter Biden on Burisma's board and also met with then-VP Joe Biden at the White House around the time he and Hunter joined Burisma.

Cconsidering the most recent evidence presented in court under oath, will Hunter get thrown under the bus?

Trump was always right focusing on Hunter.

They looked at the bank records and the tax returns (which Joe has ALWAYS made public) and there is nothing nefarious. Are you suggesting super secret bank fraud as well?

Source for nothing nefarious?

The GOP would be screaming from the mountain tops with the piles of evidence...if they had it.

"Will"

Sure, just like The Kraken "will" reinstate Trump.

Keep holding your breath for all that.
