What exactly was illegal about Hunter's business?

Donald Trump had millions of dollars in deals with China, along with secret undisclosed Chinese bank accounts. He was paying more in taxes to the CCP than to the US Treasury. Jared and Ivanka did hundreds of millions of dollars of business with China WHILE ON THE WHITE HOUSE PAYROLL. And what about the $2b Saudi deal?

Manafort went to jail for a whole host of things, to include bank fraud, tax evasion and other charges. And regarding FARA, Manafort was a paid lobbyist working directly for Yanukovich, who was the President of Ukraine installed and propped up by Putin.

So Hunter Biden lobbied on behalf of a Romanian oligarch, structuring the payments to avoid "political ramifications for his father"... but he "performed almost no work in exchange for the millions of dollars he received" from CEFC or Burisma.

It's almost like they were...bribes?

Prosecutors silent on whether those payments were structured to avoid political ramifications for his father. (Hint: hiding your Burisma income doesn't only have tax implications.)
