Uh you need to consider the sources in that NY Post article.

First, it is NY Post, owned by Rupert Murdoch.
Second, it is second hand information via Rudy Guiliani, who is no longer considered a credible player.
Third, it is coming from Shokin himself, who is/was trying to rehab his standing and was part of the corruption in Ukraine at the time.
Fourth, the article says "Trump claims...." - since when does anything Trump says is not a lie?

IOW, these are all people covering for themselves in manufacturing the whole Biden/Ukraine thing to begin with to deflect from Trump and his impeachment.



I believed the NYT and the WaPo when they said the laptop wasn't real. I trusted both papers more than NYPost. But the laptops were real. It took months for the papers to publish the truth. I have lost faith in both papers. They are so biased that they are failing to do proper investigative reporting. And I feel like it is continuing. Even if the Joe Biden and his family haven't violated any laws, they certainly have violated the spirit of the laws. They may not be as corrupt at Trump, but Joe Biden is not Obama, either.

Trump was impeached because he was blatantly and obviously guilty. The political frauds of the Trump impeachments were the Republicans who knew he was guilty but voted to acquit. Every Republican in the House and Senate knew he was guilty, they just believe that laws don’t apply to Republicans.

Uh, no, as long as they're not committing criminal acts the way Trump was, you have nothing to worry about. However, I think this is projection for Republicans. You'll find any excuse to do this to a Democratic President no matter how flimsy the charge. Just look at the MTG's attempt at the beginning of this Congress.

+1 And for the second impeachment, a lot of them said that for a President who is on the way out the door, the proper venue was not impeachment and conviction, but prosecution. I look forward to hearing what those members have to say about this indictment.
