Others don’t? So these two groups are the only smart and studious kids? |
Not PP, what does that have anything to do with this is America? Are you suggesting America is owned by the White people only? |
If you look at their achievements individually and also their highly developed civilizations and cultures in Cjina, Japan, Korea, etc, they have a right to be proud. |
I fell bad for the cool Asians with engaging personalities who aren’t math and science nerds. |
Not the only smart ones; but they value studying and education more than some other groups when you look at their achievements. |
Is it a crime to be math and science enthusiasts? |
I contribute to American society by paying so much tax that it will cover disability of 40-50 in Middle America. However, I never thought about it that way until you specifically asked and pointed it out. I also volunteer at the local food pantry, work with environmental groups, raise polite and well mannered kids. Also, I try to be a law abiding, peace loving citizen and support my community ( not just Asians) whenever I can. I am quite sure I am contributing more than majority of Americans. Sure, you have an axe to grind with the Asians but don’t let cold facts get in your way. Signed - Asian American. |
So the standards for Asian candidates should be higher because of this? |
Clownish response. You wouldn’t last a semester in any field requiring logic or comprehension. |
Comparatively, yes. Look and the average # hours spent doing homework. It correlates with academic success. Unless you want to argue that spending more time studying isn't causal to academic success? |
Harvard and the Ivies are very different than most schools. |
They shouldn't be there. Just like any race, there are dumb people of color and smart people of color. Affirmative action is only supposed to allow HR to consider people of color, they are not supposed to hire people who are incompetent. |
Says a moron who couldn't even crack watered down SAT? |
There are important factors to admission in addition to scores. Harvard wants diversity of thought and experience. If it looks like every Asian student is the same, how does that add to the student body? |
I agree with this. They will be targeted. |
