What seems to have Taibbi and Greenwald upset is, in part, their astonishment that (in their view), so many Democrats have become cheerleaders for the national security apparatus and large corporations.

The second , third, and fourth installments described the decision-making process leading to Trump being banned. Trump had repeatedly violated Twitter's terms of service but rules were changed to allow him to continue using Twitter. He reached the point of having only one remaining strike — meaning that one more violation would cause him to be banned — when January 6 came along. Twitter faced lots of pressure to ban him in the wake of the insurrection, but his subsequent tweets were not clear violations. The subsequent installments were so not noteworthy that I can't even recall what they were about.

The basic pattern has been to promise huge revelations, spin normal procedures as somehow being signs of the apocalypse, and then wrap up saying that something that was not shown to be true was, in fact, true. Then have Musk and his fan boys run around claiming that Twitter was nothing more than a FBI front operation.

The 7th installment is out. Says "EVERYTHING NY POST SAID WAS TRUE" - ehhh not necessarily, without context and specifics.

For example:
H BIDEN HAD FOREIGN BUSINESS DEALINGS!

Ehhh so what? So did Donald, so did Ivanka, so did Jared. Nothing about H Biden's business dealings was illegal.

THEY FALSELY CLAIMED THE LAPTOP WAS A HACK JOB!

Well do we *really* know what's true or false on that score? I don't. Chain of custody on the laptop is questionable and the laptop drive itself is super questionable as we know files on it were altered long after it was no longer in H Biden's possession.

And there are many other serious problems, for example the "corroborating proof" of the central "10 for the big guy" premise was even more sketchy and even more questionable, a photo of a cracked blackberry connected to a Russian cellphone provider showing a screenshot of what purports to be iphone text messages between H and Tony Bobulinski, who mysteriously had a $600k court judgement for fraud against him paid off just as he surfaced to "corroborate" the supposed "shady Biden dealings." Who bailed Bobulinski out from his legal problems? And does that 'who' happen to use that Russian cellphone provider?

Wrong. Forensic analysis revealed that files on the laptop WERE altered after it was no longer in Biden's possession.

The only ones in question (business dealings) were only corroborated by Bobulinski and his corroboration is deeply tainted, as stated above.

It's a well known tactic of spy bureaus to "salt" a batch of authentic, corroborated messages with a handful of false "smoking gun" ones.
