Apple Cider Vinegar

Has anyone tried this for weight loss? You're suppose to drink a mixture of this 3xs a day. So far it's just making me go to the bathroom a lot.

My sister, who is a dentist, cautions against this one. Says it's horrible for your teeth.

Some people shoot it to avoid the teeth. Sounds disgusting!

I tried but it upset my stomach.

My friend did this for a month and had diarrhea all day long the whole time. She lost weight, but regained it when she stopped drinking vinegar.

If you drink diluted vinegar right before you eat it lowers the amount your insulin spikes after the meal. It's good for people with insulin resistance (most overweight people). You can get the same effect by eating vinegar with the meal -- think oil and vinegar salad dressing or a couple of pickles with your sandwich.

OP here, I've been drinking 8oz water with 2 tsp of ACV. You could add honey (1-2tsp) but I stopped adding it after the first 2 days.

To me it's not so bad. Tastes similar to Kombucha.

I read last week that you can do one tablespoon, twice a day, and do it with carbs.

I actually like the taste when I add it to seltzer.

PP with the upset stomach.

I wasn't diluting. Doh. I was literally drinking a tablespoon of vinegar. No wonder my stomach couldn't handle it.

Exactly. Which is why I don’t know why people waste money on Kombucha.
