His take explains that we keep putting our own worldview and bias there. Here, Money and technology correlates to military might but In the Middle East, it’s the opposite. Money is the opposite to war IQ. Yes Saudis and Qataris don’t know anything to fight. They are too rich to know about it. Most of their sons are trust fund kids in ivory towers who don’t have to deal with daily violence. However, We didn’t even win against even the poorest or most backward Arab country (Yemen) last year. We also didn’t win its neighbor Somalia in 1993 and in 2009, they famously took our ship hostage and despite what they told you, we did pay for release. Afghanistan is not Arab but just as similar to Yemen and Somalia in terms of poverty and we lost there too |

| It’s like comparing Western Europeans to Eastern European. The poor and those in the trenches and facing daily violence are usually hardened fighters. They don’t need a high gdp or bullshit tanks and fighter jets to win. Look at Israel. It’s a huge paper tiger in the sky but they have zero ground game and are already tired in Lebanon with the ground ambushes. |

Persians never conquered anything with their Aryan nation and right now they are at the risk of being nuked by Dumb and Dumber. Arabs used to run Spain and Sicily yet you think they weren’t a great military? At one point, they ran the entire Mediterranean from Atlantic Ocean to Indian Ocean and parts of East and west Africa. Camel herders were the ones who came to greet Jesus at his birth as the king when the Roman’s and Jews banished his mom to the desert to give birth to her bastard kid.
