Chevy Chase DC- tons of kids in my neighborhood- i think there's a stroller on almost every porch.

Please.... do you really think child molestors need this site to figure that out. I am sure the OP is just like the rest of us who bought homes before we had kids only to realize now that all of our neighbors are geriatrics (although very nice).

Woodmoor is packed with children, but unless your child attends St. Bernadette's, s/he is unlikely to make many friends there. Very clique-y neighborhood.

I'm in Forest Estates, right across Georgia Ave. from the Forest Glen Metro and a couple miles from downtown Silver Spring. Nice mix of young kids and teens (to babysit!).
