| Does anybody else have this problem? I work at home and feel like I snack all day. I need to be more disciplined with my eating. I had my second 17 months ago and still need to lose 10lbs. My belly is gross and I need to diet along with exercise more. Ugh I need the motivation to get my body back before this summer and the pool! |
| yes. no advice. I eat all day and have also gained weight. sigh. |
|
I didn't lose weight til I went back to the office, even though I sit on my butt all day. Sad but true.
Maybe for awhile you can portion out your food the night before. At work, I have only a certain amount of food in the office fridge, so it's self-limiting. |
Throw out the junk, keep refrigerator empty. That is my approach. |

I bought this diet template: https://renaissanceperiodization.com/shop/healthy-diet-templates/
Having a clear plan (and something I paid for) made me feel like I had to do it. It also allows for 300 calories of whatever you want each day, so I use that to account for the extra bites I take of things while passing through the kitchen. As long as the meals are right, my weight has been good. |
| Intermittent fasting. And only eat food when sitting at your table. Like an actual meal. |
| I WAH and have one snack but otherwise no food except during meals. Easy when you set rules for yourself. |
| We don't allow any food in the bedrooms and I WAH from bed. Problem solved. |
| Yup. Same problem. It's why i go into the office 4xs a week. I'm much more regimented when there are less options. |
| This is exactly why I never buy junk food and make sure when DH gets junk food, he only gets the crap I don't like. |
| I find drinking water with apple cider vinegar throughout the day helps. You get used to the taste and it gives you something to do. You can also focus on working out more. 25 squats every hour or something like that! |
| I’d create a schedule/plan. Also drink tea |
| Integrate some exercise into your daily WAH routine. Like resistance band exercises while you are reading, or doing a few exercises every time you get up. |
| The only thing that worked for me is to have a hard rule that I don't eat between meals. Absolutely no snacking. I couldn't believe how quickly weight fell off after I made this one simple change. |
| I put a treaddesk in my office so now I'm constantly moving. That plus intermittent fasting help me a lot. |
