OK. The "actual f**k" I was talking about (I'm not the one you've been sparring with), is that it makes sense to talk about Joe Alwyn's treatment as Taylor's boyfriend because it's the same trend. Her behavior toward Travis is going to follow the same basic pattern as it did for everyone before him. I don't hate Taylor.

You say “is going to follow the same basic pattern” as if you know it as fact. The truth is maybe it will, maybe it won’t. Can’t everyone have some fun with it while it’s going good and hope that maybe, just maybe, it will work out? No two men are alike in all ways, and certainly Travis, as do we all, has his faults. But maybe there is some combination he has, be it his comfort level with the fame part of it, his support, his work ethic, his values, maybe even his goofy sense of humor, that others have not had, that will make it work this time.

It will turn out like the others. If you want, we can start a list of possible "reasons" the fans will settle on (often led by clues). Travis was caught Liking someone else's social media. Travis cheated outright. Travis was too dumb to keep up with Taylor's genius. Travis was fame hungry and he used her. (this is where I'd put my money for the pitchfork fan fury). If everyone's feeling generous when it ends, the story will be Travis and Taylor were both too busy with their careers and are parting while having forever love and support.

Who knows. People are people. They can be great for each other and one does a little thing on the wrong day and it is over. Having said that, good chance they are getting married. Travis has not cheated on her. That is nonsense. He is not as talented in song writing but is likely as smart given her given her lack of education and the fact she is stuck at 22. There are so many potential answers to this. They: possibly didn't treat her all that great, so she wrote negative songs about them. They possibly knew what they asked of her in terms of hiding, not being open, and understood her potential feelings on that. They might be bitter themselves. Who the h$ll knows. But it's clear that he's far more open in his adoration of her than anyone she has ever dated in the past. He's so happy to be with her and it shows. So even if they split up, it won't be because he didn't care enough to show up in the relationship.

I'd like to think that by mid-30s, people have enough life experience and maturity to not slam their exes, and also not make money off of it.

As for her accent, her own mother has a southern accent and she grew up with one. You can hear it on her old home movies. If anything, she obviously had to work at *getting rid* of her accent to appeal to a wider demographic.
