Well, none of those were written specifically for anyone except So High School, which was written for Travis. The first was from her debut album and written about an elderly couple next door who seemed like they were still in high school for how giddy they still seemed each other. She takes their imagined love through the years as they are two years apart and ends with you’ll be 87 I’ll be 89. It’s a sweet coincidence. And she mashed it up with So High School, written for Travis, and then Everything Has Changed, which is about how you just want to lean in and get to know someone better and better when you’re in a relationship. It was nice. And she sang it to him. Damn you gotta have a cold heart not to see someone just enjoying the turn her life took when she met someone she now loves. How that makes people angry is beyond me.

I find the subject interesting and even more interesting that academics study the topic and present their findings at Taylor Swift conferences.

She didn’t have a twang, a link to an interview showed she spoke with no twang.

The academic study was about why people speak and sing differently like Adele has one way of speaking and another way of singing. It’s common and Taylor is just one example.

It’s common for meaning facings to change, famously Joni Mitchell discusses how the meaning of Both Sides Now has changed over the years.

This mashup, specially, none of the other 2 songs were written for “another man”.
