Restructuring due to financial needs?

When is their Board going to wake up? There have been a lot of coaches and several directors leave recently. Years of mismanagement by LB seems to have ruined the club and the end is near for the club.

LMVSC announced changes to its Travel Director roster due to COVID-19 for the fall season:

Julian Change and Fabien Lewis will stay as full time Travel Directors.

Sam Okpodu and Jon Norem will remain as head coaches.

Who are you kidding? Do you honestly think Sam and Jon will stay to only coach? They have more experience and success in the game and will be more appreciated at more nationally recognized clubs.

Does the board not realize that Lula is the problem? I realize there is more to LMVSC than soccer, as they have basketball too, but she has been an impediment to LMVSC’s growth and success. People get really fed up with her style and simply don’t want to work with or for her. That’s a big issue.

Maybe S and J were leaders here? Maybe they agreed to step down as directors for the fall season to save the club money?

Doubted. Think Lula has taken a voluntary pay decrease because the club has fallen on hard times? Instead, she gets rid of several directors so she can continue getting paid. If Sam and Jon come out with 3-4 teams each to support the lack of compensation, maybe it will prove me wrong. Based on what has happened in the past, it is unfortunate but Lula will stay with full compensation and great coaches and directors will be shown the door.

In looking at the club website, it appears Lula is prepared for the coming events. The bylaws (http://77.104.161.66/~lmvsc971/wp-content/uploads/2018/02/Lee-Mount-Vernon-Sports-Club-INC-BYLAWS.pdf) and articles of incorporation (http://77.104.161.66/~lmvsc971/wp-content/uploads/2018/02/LMVSA_ArticlesAmended2014.pdf) have been removed from their website. Reviewing their Board, is this a real board (https://lmvsc.org/about-us/#board_of_directors)? Lula sits at the top and the names below offer 4 executives (after research on the web) and others being puppets.

I don’t think SHE took a pay cut; but maybe S and J did? She is selfish and a micromanager who justifies her actions through a lot of mental gymnastics. LMVSC needs to merge with Gunston.

We left last year, and while we’re excited and happy where we’re at, I feel bad for those serious players/families that stayed. If you have a girl in the club that is serious about soccer, get her out now.

LB is much more present on the girls side, and look at what happens. She will become much more “invested” in the older girls teams.

Can someone please explain why LB is still involved in soccer at any level? She never played and her kid, Mitchell Gore, didn’t reach levels to speak of.

Wait. So is Jessica Gore, aka [e-mail] related to Lula?

It appears she is the protected DIL and the reason why stuff is never done.
