That's more time than Trump spent at the summit. He ditched early. |
And yet he spent years claiming he graduated first in his class from Wharton. |
Hearing are generally televised. Summits are not |
Another fun fact: FOX spent approximately two minutes on the Cohen hearing during Bret Baier's broadcast last night. FOX was more concerned about Bret Baier and his commentary on traffic in Hanoi. I watched. Because I like to see how the other side is being brainwashed. CNN and MSNBC knew this "summit" would be a nothing burger. They were correct. So there is that. What's your commentary on traffic in Hanoi, PP? So. Much. Winning. |
Absolutely. He just saved that part for the 7 hours he spent behind closed doors with the House Intelligence Committee. And that wasn't enough time, because apparently he's coming back next week. "Cohen was interviewed for more than seven hours behind closed doors before the House Intelligence Committee on Thursday, and the committee's chairman, Democrat Adam Schiff of California, announced Cohen would be returning on Wednesday next week to finish his testimony." Odd that it's taking him SO long to say "no collusion." |
Fun Fact: Hanoi is 12 hours ahead of New York. Nothing happened yesterday during the hours the Cohen testified because everyone in Hanoi was asleep. Well, everyone but Trump. |
I was surprised it took so long for someone to write about this -- from The Fix/WaPo today:
The most ominous thing Michael Cohen said about Trump “Given my experience working for Mr. Trump, I fear that if he loses the election in 2020, that there will never be a peaceful transition of power." I shivered when he said that, because it's SO possible. He discredits all institutions and will almost certainly contest any election result that doesn't name him the clear winner. And more importantly, the day he leaves the White House he will almost certainly be indicted, possibly arrested and financially destroyed. And he's backed by about 60 million Americans with probably 10 times that many guns. |
Actually, I brought this up about 30 pages back (lol), but it didn’t seem to cause much alarm for some reason. Trump will be a cornered rat if he loses. Who knows what he is capable of when forced to confront his worst fears. And who knows how his cult will react. At least Cohen issued a warning to the political and military structure to be on high alert. |
His base will be riled up and move on Washington until the battery charges on their Jazzy chairs run out. Then they'll be stranded because they are mostly too fat and old to mobilize on their own. I do not fear these mouth breathers. |
LOL. Look how they panic and freak out when someone knocks their MAGA hats off. Snow flakes. Do we really need four threads about put upon MAGsters? I think it's a deliberate attempt by posters to divert attention from the 18 probable crimes Trump has committed that are hopefully being investigated. It sure looks like Junior and Jared will be facing jail time. |
He actually planted the seeds for this in August 2016 when he started talking about a rigged election. He was never going to go quietly and Fox was always going to aid him in fomenting a civil war. Thy still are. And our GOP Senators are just fine with it. It is very chilling. |
Which is worse - Schiff wanting Cohen to come back on March 6th or Schiff wanting Felix Sater to come on March 14th? |
As US Atty for SDNY, Rudy Giuliani indicted & convicted a State Senator for inflating the value of his assets to get a loan. Here's what Rudy said at the time: ''These are very serious allegations against a person who holds an important public office'' |
Yes, I agree that those threads are just to force actual issues down the front page. They’ve been doing it for months. |
You don't think assault and suppression of free speech is an "actual issue?" Then, you must be a liberal. |
