At long last. A sustained history of unwillingness by the U.S., Israel, and many of the Arab states who know better to take definitive action to neuter Iran has merely allowed that cancer to grow over time. The host needs to be eliminated so the cancer dies. It's in nobody's interests to have the Iranian theocratic vision spread further, or for it to continue to take form as terrorism through proxy stooges like Hamas, with Iran hoping to eventually install puppet regimes in other countries after they have been sufficiently weakened through relentless terror activities.

What a load of Israeli BS propaganda this is.

Hint: it’s not 2002 any more. Your propaganda needs to be more sophisticated than this.

Reality is painful for the Palestinian apologist, eh?

Here’s where you have lost. I am a moderate Democrat who is actually fine with Israel defending itself and have traditionally been okay with some of the US support of Israel. But you’ve lost me by dragging the US into war with Iran, and if you’ve lost people like me, you’ve lost most of the country.

You are promulgating Israeli lies and nothing else. You’re trying the same propaganda tactics you tried in 2002, but they are less effective now because we see through them, and also, support for Israel in the US is at an all time low. No real Americans want American lives spent to prop up Israel. That’s a hard line.

DP.

FWIW, I’m also a moderate Dem but totally disagree with you.

I think most Americans would absolutely celebrate the downfall of the current Iranian regime, provided that it can be achieved with no US boots on the ground.

The bizarre pro Palestinian/anti US posters here disgust me. I’m certainly no fan of this Israeli government. But if they knock off the mullahs, they’ve done the US a huge favor.

Very, very few Americans want American boys to die for Israel’s sake. You are very out of touch here.

Obviously. I expressly stated “provided it can be achieved with no US boots on the ground.”

Or in the air? What happens when Iran hits a US pilot?

Why? When was the last time Iran invaded the US or any country for that matter?

Iran has acted through proxies and through individual acts of terror; it lacks the military capacity, obviously, to fight a conventional war against anyone. Through Hamas and Hezbollah, and the Houthis, Iran has waged an admittedly generally feeble form of warfare for decades against Israel. The other Arab states in the region certainly view Iran with a wary eye, knowing the mullahs' ambition to eventually export their particular brand of fanaticism more widely in the region and, eventually, further.

The eradication of the current Iranian regime is in everyones interests, save Hamas, Hezbollah, and the Houthis, who all will wither on the vine for lack of Iranian support for their genocidal ambitions.

That’s what Israel claims, but we have no proof.

If American pilots are shot down and tortured by Iran because the US is doing what Israel demands, there will be political uproar. That alone might get Trump impeached.

Israel has air superiority and has been flying Gen 4 non-stealth aircraft after toppling Iran's air defenses in one evening.

That’s a far cry from “we guarantee no American pilots will be shot down.”

Hey Trump and friends, I hope you, or AI on your behalf, are reading.

I don’t like this and I don’t think Americans are going to like this. On one hand we are seeing our jobs and health care disappear, but somehow we have bottomless pockets for Israel and whoever they want to bomb and/or eliminate. I don’t see this ending well for any of us including you.

And if any of you are a Zionist, I have read the scriptures and I have other questions for you.

The economic strangling and isolation of Iran is the culprit.

If we had allowed their society to prosper it would have opened up naturally. The youth and average person hate the regime.

We have isolated them and propped them up as a boogeyman for our own strategy game for oil in the Middle East.

There is so much wrong with this statement. Lebanon welcomes Hezbollah because without them, they would be Little Israel.

It’s no secret Israeli settlers have designs on taking Lebanon. Those
Plans were vocalized since the 70s. Lebanon courted Hezbollah as a safety mechanism for their country so they won’t become Palestine.

Are they fans of Iran or everything Hezbollah is about? No. But they needed a deterrence against Israeli settlers and that’s what they are there for. Despite Israeli bluster, they lose and withdraw every time they try to place ground troops in Lebanon to fight Hezbollah. That’s why they decided the guy on the desktop blowing up beepers was the best way to move forward because they can’t do actual land combat against them

Probably the saddest part about this is Hamas will only grow stronger with Israels focus on Iran. Netanyahus obsession with Iran is exactly why they were able to plan for 10/7 for a decade outside of Israeli interference.

I don’t know if Americans or Jews know this or not but Palestine has nothing to do with Iran. They don’t even speak the same language. There would make no difference if Israel carpet bombed all of Iran today.

They don’t speak the same language, aren’t even the same religion. There’s no financial kinship between Hamas and Iran.

The financial gains Hamas gets are from
Turkey, Qatar, Israel, and by way of
Tunnel systems Egypt
