The ball is in Iran's court now.

Foolish. Absolutely foolish.

Why do we keep falling for neocon rhetoric over and over? They are always disastrously wrong.

“we” arent falling for it. Republicans are.

For sure some Democrats are. Look how silent they are.

What's done is done. This war won't end until Iran's nuclear and missile programs are finished. There is zero chance that Saudi Arabia and Israel can live with a nuclear threat from Iran at this point. I really hope Iran's regime concedes the loss sooner rather than later. The US is moving all sorts of assets to the area. If Iran doesn't give up its nuclear and missile programs, I suspect the US and Israel will obliterate Iran's military forces from the air until there is regime change, whether by popular uprising or coup. But that leads to chaos in a giant country with 90 million people.

What they are doing is leaving us open to attack from China and Russia. We will be openly vulnerable, all to defend Israel. It is insanity.

How?

Hawaii just had a completely unannounced emergency alert test a few days ago. Why do you think?

https://www.staradvertiser.com/2025/06/13/breaking-news/city-officials-no-emergency-after-hi-ema-test-alert/#

Essentially we are sending defensive resources to the Middle East, leaving the US itself more vulnerable. Good thing Israel will be safe though.

We have 11 aircraft carriers.

We also have 14 Ohio Class ballistic submarines (Trident) that can launch MIRVs and TLAMs.

We have a metric s***-ton of military hardware to bring to bear.

Your turn.

Sure. Tell me the last time the US successfully got involved in a ME war where it benefited in the end, and then tell me the last time that happened when there was a waiting superpower with demonstrable military power waiting for the US to be exceptionally vulnerable.

Now do this in an era of cyberwar, autonomous drones where the other superpower is demonstrably better at those drones, and where we have a disorganized leadership structure under Hegseth and a visibly demoralized rank and file (see: parade).

We can’t fight a two front war. And our distraction in the ME would be an excellent time to strike. We aren’t ready. And China is.

So silly on so many levels.

I see you can’t answer any of the points made. We will accept your concession on all points.

The only conceding we’re likely to see is from the mullahs.

Love the DCUM “experts” who pontificate despite having no background or credentials whatsoever.

Still no answers or fact-based rebuttals, I see.

Nobody buys your lies. And you can’t address any of the points made because you know they are correct.

Presupposes there’s something substantive to rebut. Have at it.

We accept your concession of all points. Thanks.

At long last. A sustained history of unwillingness by the U.S., Israel, and many of the Arab states who know better to take definitive action to neuter Iran has merely allowed that cancer to grow over time. The host needs to be eliminated so the cancer dies. It's in nobody's interests to have the Iranian theocratic vision spread further, or for it to continue to take form as terrorism through proxy stooges like Hamas, with Iran hoping to eventually install puppet regimes in other countries after they have been sufficiently weakened through relentless terror activities.

The only cancer is Isreal. There will never be peace as long as Israel is around.

As the proverb goes, Providence is always on the side of the big battalions. Israel has those battalions, as has been evidenced by the conflict since Oct. 7. Peace will prevail in the end, once the losers are fully emasculated and are no longer capable to fomenting further religiously-driven terror.

What a load of Israeli BS propaganda this is.

Hint: it’s not 2002 any more. Your propaganda needs to be more sophisticated than this.

Reality is painful for the Palestinian apologist, eh?

Here’s where you have lost. I am a moderate Democrat who is actually fine with Israel defending itself and have traditionally been okay with some of the US support of Israel. But you’ve lost me by dragging the US into war with Iran, and if you’ve lost people like me, you’ve lost most of the country.

You are promulgating Israeli lies and nothing else. You’re trying the same propaganda tactics you tried in 2002, but they are less effective now because we see through them, and also, support for Israel in the US is at an all time low. No real Americans want American lives spent to prop up Israel. That’s a hard line.

The irony of this statement, current day Israel is being run by the worst brand of right wing religious zealots, but sure call others crazy.

Because the Israeli right-wing surged over the border with Gaza on Oct 7 to rape, murder, and kidnap civilians at a music festival? Because the Israeli right-wing continues to hold those hostages despite 50K+ Gazan deaths? You have a peculiar perspective.

FWIW, I’m also a moderate Dem but totally disagree with you.

I think most Americans would absolutely celebrate the downfall of the current Iranian regime, provided that it can be achieved with no US boots on the ground.

The bizarre pro Palestinian/anti US posters here disgust me. I’m certainly no fan of this Israeli government. But if they knock off the mullahs, they’ve done the US a huge favor.

Believing that US hawks’ longstanding views on Iran are based on “propping up Israel” and “Israeli lies” is fairly … problematic. They have want to bomb Iran for a long time.

Very stupid. Of course the Democrats who are absolutely silent here and not raising their voices against this are also stupid. All of them are evil.

Try harder, both sides, troll.

‪Elizabeth Warren‬

Allowing Netanyahu to drag us into another endless war in the Middle East would be a catastrophic error by President Trump and Republicans in Congress.

Every lawmaker needs to ring the alarm against U.S. military action in Iran. Only Congress has the authority to declare war.

Elizabeth Warren is one Democrat. A single one. AOC is one other. And the PP you are responding to did not say all Democrats were silent, PP said the Democrats who are silent are evil. I realize reading comprehension isn’t your strong point but do try.

And it is correct that the Democrats that are silent are evil. When the anti-war MAGA have the voice of moral reason here, and most Democrats are silent, it is a serious problem.

Senators Murphy, Sanders, and Kaine have all spoken out against Israel dragging the US into a war with Iran. I admit that Schumer, and many others, will more than likely remain silent, but Warren is not the only lone Democrat saying NO!

This is where you live in your silo bubble in your tiny backyard. Most Americans could care less about Israel or Iran. They don't care if they are both obliterated as long as it does not impact them. Most Americans could not tell you where they are located on a map. And when you tell these Americans that they are not getting medicare, medicaid, housing assistance, but higher taxes because of Israel and Iran, they are furious.
