I can think of maybe 3 kids who went to boarding school ‘up north’ in the past few years - certainly not enough to make any sort of dent. It’s weird to go to boarding school from here - a ton of excellent and varied private schools to choose from and to put it simply, the kids have fun here in high school. It’s a good place to grow up.

Go look at Deerfield’s roster, they have more than 3 kids from the greater DC area on its roster alone. And that’s just one school.

New England privates are the cream of the crop in terms of academics and college placement.

Tons of DC area families look up north for HS.

Wow. not enough talk about Bullis having very little in house after the 27 class. We could see Bullis go the way of SSSAS soon. Should have enough in the 26 and 27 classes to remain competitive next year, but after that it could be a free fall.

STA could be third in the IAC in the near future.

Wow. We must talk more about it. You can be the moderator. I bet you are a popular person.

No one is respecting what CM is helping to put together at EHS. They will be tier 2 for sure next year.

Those are the 3 I’m thinking of. But that’s it…

Wow. That’s at least his third school in the past few years and he is most certainly not Catholic. SJC obviously thrilled to have him but very weird choice on his ends

Wait - the ehs dad said they don’t recruit for sports.
Are you saying that the little guy with an online temper is driving the roster ?

Nothing more DCUM than private school heads arguing and accusing about boarders, transfers and recruiting. The irony. And the best tête-á-têtes, fo sho.
