It’s disgusting you think Jewish billionaires would all automatically want to fund Israel. GTFO with that crap

I don’t think it’s disgusting it all, I think is normal Jews would want to help the Jewish state.

I’m an American. Not an Israeli. It’s illegal for me to give money to a foreign military.

Evangelical weirdo who blindly, unconditionally supports Israel because racism is hardwired in your DNA and you believe in biblical fairytales.

or

Jewish American who would sell America down the river in an instant if forced to choose between the survival of America and the survival of Israel.

Which one are you?

Jewish American who hates Bibi but believes Israel has a right to exist.

Cool. Now, do Palestinians have a right to exist? Do Lebanese? Syrians? Iranians.

Of course.

I feel like you’re trying to catch me in some horrible belief, so you can say “look! It’s another dirty Jew!”

On the contrary. Actually trying to catch you in a moment of sensibility. As much as Israel and radical, extremist Zionists (and to be clear, ANYONE who is radical and extremist, whether Zionist or not) are despicable and repugnant to me, I wake up every morning searching for additional evidence that there are more Jewish Americans out there who are American first, last and everywhere in between. I don't care if you conditionally support Israel. I'm just seeking evidence that you understand how much harm Israel has done, and that you recognize that other people have rights to live in peace, too.

Of course I do.

And I find it extremely unlikely that you know that many Jews if you haven’t found others like me.

Americans buy Israeli bonds all the time. Hell the Israeli government does roadshows to promote them. Stop dissembling.

All countries sell bonds you idiot.

Yes, we agree. So the Jewish billionaires can buy Israeli bonds to Israel can level Lebanon or do whatever it needs to do.

And what if they don’t want to? Then what?

By prove, do you mean asking strangers questions about their beliefs? If so, yes.

It's actually sad that you don't know what it's like to live in a world where it's normal to ask others what they believe. I guess it's just easier for you to assume that everyone who isn't tripping over themselves to pledge fealty to Israel is anti-semitic and anyone who's an Arab or Muslim or whatever is a member of Hamas or Hezbollah or whatever.

I think it is OK to support them. If you support anyone on the other side of the conflict you may face life in prison.

And yet people on this thread expect all the Jewish billionaires to fund Israel because obviously they all want to.

I HAVE found others. They are not the people mouthing off here in DCUM, or at counter-protests, etc. The fact that I personally know many, yet have witnessed so many more who are radical and extremist is what provokes me to participate here, to perhaps draw out the humanity in people who are so hell-bent on vengeance and demonstrations of power.

Then why did you ask if I ask others in life what they believe, almost as if that was alien to you and somehow reflected poorly on me?

Well, I guess Israel would have to make adjustments.

You seriously cannot see why it’s hard to understand why working Americans should pay taxes to support Israel while- by your admission- 267 of the most wealthy people in the world are in large part reluctant to support Israel financially?

I was wondering whether you only do this to Jews or whether it’s a more general thing.

And for the love of god I don’t think all Arabs and Muslims are terrorists. Stop putting words in my mouth.

Why do you even bring up Jewish billionaires?

Despite what you appear to have been told (indoctrination?), some who question you about your beliefs are not looking at the world through a "Jews, us vs. them!" lens.

Israel’: bombs into Lebanon are not precision targeting Hezbollah and have only united Lebanese against Israel.

Israel is just perpetuating instability in the Middle East for the next millennium. You can't occupy a people for decades and then indiscriminately kill tens of thousands of them, killing children, orphaning children and not assume that those families will swear an oath of revenge for generations to come. You don't, Israel but as an American, I no longer want my tax dollars to be devoted to funding Israel's war machine and will be vocal about it and will determine my vote for future elections based on this calculus.
