Did you want us to pretend that an octogenarian forgetting some stuff is breaking news?

People his age have memory issues. Trump has them too.

"Forgetting some stuff"?? JFC, come up out of your echo chamber for air occasionally. Are you truly so partisan that you can't admit Biden is unfit to be president?? And btw - don't deflect to Trump. You have plenty of other threads on which you can rage about him. This isn't it.

I call my kids by the wrong names a lot of times, and at times, I really have to think when I was born. The other day, I had difficulty recalling my SSN because I hadn't used it in a while. I am in my 40s.

Maybe I should be put out to pasture too.

Plus one. Also Joe has been coherent and strong where it counts - the economy and national security .

A president should be able to handle testifying the day after a major international event. If he can’t, he shouldn’t be president.

Of course he shouldn't be president and it's even more obvious that Trump shouldn't be president. Kindergarteners can figure this it out but somehow adult age voters are having difficulty with the concept of who should and shouldn't have the most demanding job in the world.

You are pathetic to try and draw a comparison between normal, everyday forgetfulness and a confused, addled man who is the PRESIDENT of the U.S. Good grief. Maybe you should be put out to pasture just for sheer stupidity.

He was talking about the border and his stutter mind kicked in Mexico because that has probably been at the top of his mind. The content of what he said in terms of helping the Palestinians and holding Hamas accountable was the more important part of the message.

DP - this is a good way to respond to personal attacks - with clear facts.

So now he has a “stutter mind” too?
Bring in Jared Polis and let’s move on from this Grumpy Old Men sequel!

Why would we move on from the elderly and unpopular Trump and Biden to nominate well qualified people in the prime of their political careers? That makes no sense! haha, JK

I keep thinking I'm waking up from nightmare and then turn on the TV only to see Trump and Biden campaign 2024 news. I have no idea how my fellow Americans can be so easily duped.

Too few people actually voting in primaries. So the extremes of each party choose the nominees. Currently for Democrats the party machine has a stranglehold on their process.

There is what should/shouldn't be and then there is reality. One of these two men, barring death, will be our next president.

Which is normal with an incumbent. Do you remember the GOP primary 4 years ago?

How is 2024 like a groundhog day of 2020? The same election; the same choices?

it's not that too few are voting in primaries. It's the gerrymanding that allows politicians to pick their voters, rather than voters picking their politicians. It enables the more extreme candidates in each party to hold office.

back to the topic on hand...

I would also had that Hur had unfettered access to Biden's personal notes, which should never have been allowed to be probed by a partisan like Hur. Those should have been off the table for review, but weren't in the interest of transparancy (oh my god, Biden is suing to keep his personal notes out of the special counsel's hands, what is he hiding? Let's develop a million conspiracy theories around that!)

No. Hur was appointed by Garland who was appointed by Biden. This is a Biden DOJ investigation of a classified documents mishandling. And now we see that Biden DOJ investigating Trump for classified docs mishandling equals many indictments and Biden DOJ investigation Biden for classified docs mishandling equals no charges. please stop acting like Biden has been hard done by Hur. It is glaringly obvious that it is quite the opposite.
