And the AP (who handed AB the gun) had been fired from another set after a crew member was injured by a firearm.

They contributed to the issue, but the ultimate responsibility is with the person pulling the trigger.

You've told us what you think, regardless of anything else that anyone else has said. B

You know there is more than one person here with that opinion right?

I would think that anyone who has grown up around guns or has been trained to use them would view a someone who pulled the trigger as responsible for knowing if a gun is loaded

Why the f did the armorer bring real bullets to the set?!?

We don’t know who brought the bullets.

I would think anyone would be more interested in what the people who actually work in the industry have to say.

Here's "gun nut" conservative activist Trevor Noah agreeing that this level of danger on a movie set is unacceptable. https://youtu.be/0a0_uZRucJw

It does not matter what "the industry" says. It’s the 1st rule of holding a gun. Know if it’s loaded.
If "the industry" says drunk driving is ok, does that make it so?

Dh shoots blanks occasionally. He says they normally don’t look any different than a real bullet (especially on a movie set where they are a prop). So even if he checked the gun, he might not know the difference.

They do look different. A normal round looks like a little tube of lipstick with the lipstick 💄 up like that emoji. A round is like the case of lipstick but with no actual lipstick popping up.

It is true that when a round is chambered, it would take a very keen eye to tell the difference. The person who loaded the rounds would have noticed.

Of course he will. And he will have to settle for an undisclosed significant amount of money. It was an accident with a gun. The caution used should have been elevated and wasn’t. It wasn’t a freak accident with feathers from a pillow that caught in her throat. It was a gun, pointed at her and he pulled the trigger.

The producers will, but I don’t know why he’d bear any responsibility as an actor. And there’s a workers compensation question they’ll have to get around first.

Because you have a responsibility to learn how to handle deadly weapon. The car can be a killer too if you don't learn how to operate it. Baldwin was always anti-gun, he probably never went through basic gun training, he should not be touching the gun without basic knowledge. If he went through basic training, he would always check if the gun is loaded, and he would never point a loaded gun into another human. I hope they will sue him to the last penny if they cannot through him to the jail.

Excuse me but how was being anti-gun deserving of karma?

He spoke openly against use of the guns. His lazy ass never bothered to learn the basics of the gun regulations and how to handle the weapon, because, you know, we should ban all guns. I didn't say he deserved it. But he has to live with this feeling for the rest of his life. I hope he will reconsider his views and will learn something about weapons. It is funny how life teach you something that you refuse to learn.
