We are heading for a shutdown on Feb 8 because of Jell-o does not negotiation. |
Looks like he pulled a McConnell!
Seriously, who wasn't expecting this? Even the Democrats are not that spineless, bless their hearts. |
Schumer and the democrats never expected to have to pony up ANY cash for a wall. This move is just an attempt to take the heat of their failure and try to stick it on Trump. |
It would have been better for him to announce that before the shutdown but after it came out - a take it or leave it and it isn't coming back, but this is fine too.
|
I hope the Democrats have the balls to stick it to the Republicans on Feb. 8. They MUST insist on a DACA solution, or the government shuts down again, all due to the lies and incompetence of the GOP, which can't manage the government it has COMPLETE control of!! |
+1 Nobody wants to spend 1.6 billion on a wall. Not even conservatives. |
I am laughing. |
I guess it's up to Mexico to pay for it now. |
And, how much do you think we spend on the people and drugs coming across each year? How much is it worth to help stop the drug flow? |
Come on. Even at DHS, they know a physical wall is not a good use of border security money. Trump is the only one who is keeping this fantasy alive. |
Thank god! It’s so stupid and a massive waste of money. There are more effective ways to combat illegal immigration. |
You know drug cartels can dig, and have dug, tunnels under the wall, right? |
Good, and I don’t care if the withdrawal is symbolic. |
Well Trump and his moronic followers. I’m not sure Trump thinks it’s going to happen after his discussion with the leader of Mexico. It’s just a lie to keep his supporters supportive. |
LOL. The Mexicans are not paying a penny towards that wall. And they're having elections this year, and the leading candidate is far less friendly to Trump than the current admin. |
