| I was taking a tray out of the oven (at 375) and I breathed in while doing it and got a mouth full of hot oven air. Is this bad? Normally I hold my breath but I was talking to someone and forgot. Worried I could have lung/throat burns. |

Hot oven air?
Umm, I think you will be fine. |
| Don’t think I’ve ever heard of this. I’m an avid baker/cook and I’m sure I’ve inhaled oven air many hundreds of times. |
In this case..... |
| You are fine. |
| Really, OP? I think you'd know if the inside of your mouth was severely burned. |
|
Is your throat burning? Do your lungs feel like fire? Are your insides roasting your own kidneys?
No? Then you're fine. |
| This not hot enough to scald your lungs, like a burst boiler. You should be okay. |
|
Thanks for the laugh!
I think you might know if your throat wasn't burned and never in my 25 years of baking have I ever even given a moment's thought to my mouth being opened or closed when I am opening the oven door. |
Run to ER or urgent care. YOu don't want permanent damage to your lung |
| Is this for real? ? |
+1. OP, you can't be serious!!
|
| Wow, this is pretty serious. You might die. |
|
I'm dying over here!
You normally hold your breath??? Who are you? |
| Wtf?!?!?? |
