Why it matters: It's the lowest net approval rating the president has recorded since October.

What was so bad about October?

God, yes - feels like that was two years ago.

Ok, so there is a lesson to be learned here. Think how much his numbers rebounded between October and February. We have a long way to go till November.

That's (part of) what scares me, for sure. I take nothing for granted.

https://www.cnn.com/2020/06/10/politics/trump-campaign-cnn-poll/index.html

President Donald Trump's campaign is demanding CNN retract and apologize for a recent poll that showed him well behind presumptive Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden.

The demand, coming in the form of a cease and desist letter to CNN President Jeff Zucker, was immediately rejected by the network.
"We stand by our poll," said Matt Dornic, a CNN spokesman.

The CNN poll conducted by SSRS and released on Monday shows Trump trailing the former vice president by 14 points, 55%-41%, among registered voters. It also finds the President's approval rating at 38% -- his worst mark since January 2019, and roughly on par with approval ratings for one-term Presidents Jimmy Carter and George H.W. Bush at this point in their reelection years -- and his disapproval rating at 57%.

Is this a joke?

Sadly, no.

There’s still 5 months to the election. Plenty of time for polls to change on all sides.

Trump's net approval has reached -13.8%, with 54.9% disapproving, and just 41.1% approving. No president with a net approval rating that deep in the red at this point in the cycle has ever been re-elected.

And only 85% of registered republicans supporting him.

He is getting close to historically bad, which in his eyes, will mean he is the best at something.

He’s been a first for many things. Stay vigilant.

That Hitler scene has been used for all sorts of stuff.
The best was on ARLNOW ( very local website for you out of towners).
Someone did the CC about the aquatic center.
It’s so much funnier when the stakes are ridiculously low.
This is sort of funny but mostly depressing.
