I definitely think differently about people who post things like this. Definitely a sign of "station anxiety".

This reminds me of the Great Gatsby and his shelves of unread books. TBH I would rather see a bar cart because when I’m in your house, I don’t need to sit and read your books. But please make me an Old Fashioned and I will overlook your social striving.

The truth makes you laugh so you don't cry.

I had no idea books were a sign of class in a home.

Signed a middle class person (I guess that makes sense?)

I mean I had books in my house, but they weren’t on display. Probably bc they weren’t of any value.

Is the name thing a sign of class? I hail from the Midwest- community was mostly middle with a handful on the fringes of upper middle...and I always just thought it was normal to have a family last name as the middle name...fewer family names as first names, but not unheard of.

They are. Do you all think 1 carat a piece (I.e. 2 carat total weeight) diamond studs are middle class? Or UMC? I don’t think they’re better, but I may be wrong. Good color, excellent cut, polish, symmetry etc.

As long as you're not a murderer or a Trump supporter and you use your turn signal and don't roll coal or kick puppies, you're just classy as hell in my book.

Hyper-anxious class-conscious judge-factory tryhards, on the other hand? Zero class.

Not having someone in your life you refer to as bio-dad or bio-mom is a sign of class.

Classic earrings aren't reliable class indicators. The UMCest earrings are pearl studs and the WCest are thin hoops, but both/either can appear on ears of any class.
