Please. E! did that because Guiliana had fallen out of favor beginning with her Zendaya joke. It had nothing to do with any addiction/personal issues. She is returning to E! as cohost next month.

I just feel it's only right that I put this out there: there is a lot of talk about how Bethenny can't keep friends.

My cousin grew up in Florida and became friends with Bethenny in the olden days. They had children within a year of each other. My cousin moved to NY in her mid 20's and was on her show a few times. My cousin just moved back to South Florida a couple of years ago. They are still friends. That's 25+ years of friendship.

Reading this thread and watching the show just leave me in tears. Why can’t Bethany and carol just be best friends again. Why did tinslee have to ruin it? I was bawling when I saw the last episode. And then Dorinda and luan were fighting too. It was just too much to take. It’s just heartbreaking

Yes...and? Bethenny, by her own admission, has a very few long-term, uncomplicated friendships. This sounds like one of them.

The thing that sticks with me is how painful it is to watch everyone not acknowledge Dorinda's alcoholism. I think Bethenny is right that Dorinda never remembers what she did wrong, but the next day she probably wakes up like "I think I should feel guilty about something... I remember doing something... oh well..." She is good at apologizing because that is what you always need to do when you act like that. I found it interesting, that comment about "let's do 21 days together" that she muttered when hugging Luann. I wish Luann could have jumped on that and said "Pick a date. Let's do it. When?"

I have this gut feeling that Dorinda was a drunk when Richard was alive and she's still a drunk- I don't have sympathy that she is doing this to cope with that loss.

Fueled and enabled, and maybe even coerced, by Cokey Johnny. He has something on her.

Dorinda's drunk behavior has not surprised me. What has surprised me is her doubling down on it after watching the shows back. That is some deep, deep delusion.

NP. Bethenny is the one who says she has a few close friends that she has had for years. I'm seeing serious shade in this tweet of hers:

"Bravo has reasons for not asking hwives to return. It’s based on research & focus groups & YOU. Aside from 3 years I left, no RHONY cast member has ever quit. One saying they chose to depart & attributing it to me is fiction. It’s healthier to be truthful about a hard situation."

They most likely are only still friends bevause they live far apart in different states. My MIL has similar tendencies as Bethany and the only friendships she can maintain are those she doesn’t have to see the friends on a regular daily basis. Similar to Bethany she doesn’t have friends in her city or any friends she hangs out with on a regular basis.

I'm sort of like this too. My best friends are those that I "left behind" when we transferred to a new state. Or people nearby who I might only see every month or so. Because we don't spend lots of time together, some might call our friendships superficial. I see a lot of myself in Bethenny - sometimes it makes me cringe and other times makes me say right on! I've tried to be introspective about my part in ruining close relationships and it usually boils down to flaws I can't look past. I'm not a gossip, and sadly many intimate female relationships are held together by tearing someone else in the group apart. I support someone 100% and am happy when they succeed, but I feel too many other women are resentful of someone else's success unless they're totally killing it in that area too. (Not saying I don't get jealous, because I do.) I'm sure I have my own flaws that friends are just willing to live with, but those things I mentioned are deal breakers for me, so after a while I have to leave the relationship or otherwise I end up hating them - and I really hate hating people.

So you're alleging that Bethenny pays people to post anti-Carole items on social media? And these paid people are the reason Carole has been fired? Because Bravo is too stupid to figure out that all the hate for Carole is in fact paid for by Bethenny and not real fan reaction?
