Curious what DCUM thinks of the killing of a police detective in baltimore in broad daylight Still unsolved worn a story that grows thicker by the minute:

If the police chief doesn’t permit the FBI to investigate, then he’s crooked as they come.

If you’re interested, follow Baltimore Sun reporter Justin Fenton— great reporter with excellent leads.

Personally, there are too many coincidences- somethings not right in Denmark, err Baltimore

According to press conference today, he asked FBI yesterday to take the lead on investigation

Why all the delay?

The BPD will never solve this case because they don’t want to. Their actions have been shady since day 1. Something not right. Pray for justice for that officer and his family.

Cops murdered him or hired a hitman so he couldn't testify.

Could not be more obvious.

PP here- I tend to agree with this. They will [continue] walking back their earlier comments about a suppposed suspect and try and direct it to a suicide, but there are too many coincidences and ever since it came out he was going to testify in the GTTF coupled with the lockdown of the neighborhood for almost a week; being set up in a drug sting; and now turfing the investigation to the FBI...

From what I’ve read about him, Itsounds like Dt. Suiter was on the up and up and I feel for his wife and five kids, but I doubt that he or they will ever get real Justice.

He was killed investigating a triple murder. Maybe a potential suspect shot him?

It's not exactly the first federal corruption case.

They'd have a name by now if he was killed by anyone who wasn't a cop.

Because they would've been beating the hell out of everyone on every corner in the city, every day, nonstop. You can't do business like that. So eventually, someone is going to give him up just to make the heat go away so commerce can go back to normal. Even drug dealers don't like market interruptions. They're no different than any other business, and subject to the same forces.

But they got nothing. Which pretty much tells you it was an inside job.

Eventually they'll pin it on somebody, but established allibies are hard to best and it's tough to find the right guy to charge and have it seem plausible. Lots of little black notebooks have been gone over lately looking for a possible patsy.

There is a $200k reward and nothing. I agree it seems like an inside job but killing a fellow officer is just really really bad. Why not set him up with drugs or something to discredit him? What could have been so bad this was the right solution?

Also he was found dead with his radio in his hand. Who could have ambushed him like this? Someone had to have put it back, which tells me his partner must have been in on it to give them enough time. And no one on the street wants that $200k reward? Baltimoreans have no love for the cops, even good ones so it seems like they’d be willing to say something.

All in all nothing is making that much sense.
