Fairfax County Double Murder

Defense is going for confirmation bias as reasonable doubt. Essentially saying the evidence leads to agreed hook up, rather than catfish theory.

Another good closing by Prosecution - BB had to testify in to get Christine's "affairs and fetishes" into evidence, because there is no actual evidence of either.

One thing I can’t get out of my head is how BB brought up 3 or 4 times how his fingers went through the wounds…like he was getting off on it. Just disgusting

All while testimony and interviews from him and JMP state that Christine was speaking. Impossible if those wounds were from Joe.

at least he's not tripping over his words today. He's better at closing than questioning

Well he did say Brendan got on the stand and “told a story.” Not the best choice of words for defense closing imo but very accurate.

Here comes the bumbling defense.

How did she do? Did she make most of the points we have discussed here and were in yesterday's texts about how implausible his whole story is?

Defense's closing is more focused on impugning Juliana than proving Brendan's innocence. Even without her testimony, there's still enough here that points to Brendan:

1. The blood evidence
2. The lie about having a meeting that day
3. The windows

I wish she'd emphasized that his whole tale about having an important work meeting on Feb 24 was a big fat lie.

I didn't hear her mention that - did I miss it?
