VA house of delegates

Feels like a major blue tide but I don't have the patience to count race by race. Is there a summary of the current R and D count? I heard it's now at 52-48 R.

Could be as many as 16 flip. 50/50 is within reach.

This is EXACTLY what Democrats need to do -- flip state houses and then redraw the districts in 2021.

100 total. 46-45 with D’s winning for now per NYT

Control Of Virginia’s House Of Delegates Is Going Down To The Wire
Control of Virginia’s House of Delegates is likely to be decided by absentee and provisional ballots. Right now, by my math, Democrats have won 47 districts to Republicans’ 46. There are 7 races left uncalled: Democrats lead in 4, and Republicans in 3. Amazingly, the margins in 5 of the 7 districts are less than 150 votes.
For example, in Newport News’s 94th District, Del. David Yancey (R) currently leads Shelly Simonds (D) 11,587 to 11,575 with all precincts reporting, but provisional votes won’t be processed for days. Altogether, that means it may take days instead of hours to find out which party will be in control come January.

Huge win for the Democrats no matter the final outcome. And this type of win after the 2011 gerrymandering. This is hyuuuugee as our Orange President would say.

Trump has destroyed the GOP. The yuge question is whether they will impeach him before or after his family gets indicted. What a disgrace.

Even Manchester NH went with a Democrat for Mayor! Next stop Alabama Senate-good Democratic candidate vs. bigoted corrupt Republican. It's just a few weeks away.

Alabama? Get real. They'll elect the R.
