Cite? And what does that even mean? They weren’t fighting in the first place.

Yes they were fighting by way of the Us base that was there and is now destroyed. This seems to be a way of telling the Us they aren’t welcome to build another base in Qatar .

And the big problem is we cannot strike from naval vessels in the sea because Iran has underwater mines that will destroy the vessel.

Trump has really no options here unless he does the unthinkable and goes nuclear and I would not be surprised if that’s what he ends up doing in order to avoid a politically unpopular ground war.

Although there hasn't been any checks on Trump's insanity and general foolishness, I'd hope that there is some type of safeguard against a nuclear strike. I think even Trump realizes that'd make him one of history's villains, though.

This is what I want to know. I know there is the No Kings protest Sat, but the current urgency is to end the war.

The No Kings protests on Saturday are going to be all about the war. 5 million people are expected to protest.

Honestly, if they reframed and renamed it as a protest against the war, they’d get both sides there and triple the people. I’m not going, but if they reframed and renamed - my whole family would go! And all my neighbors! Everyone I know.

Yes. This. I’m not against a “King” as a concept (there are benevolent Kings) but I am against Trump and his administration getting us into this war. Let’s name it.

+100 I hope there is a war protest soon! We need to show the world we don’t agree with this!

the No Kings protest is as much an anti Iran war protest as anything else. This is an illegal and unauthorized war, what a King would do.

He’d rather be a villain than known for TACO. That’s the danger here. Trumps ego matters more to him than anything else in the world and he doesn’t want to be seen as a loser. He also doesn’t want to lose his base which it appears this ground invasion might do. It seems MAGA will only flip on him
If he conducts this war via ground troops. Because he’s trapped “like a cornered rat” as Epstein said, he may just press the button and nuke Iran. The animated videos they’re making trolling him are also not helping matters.

Of course this all benefits the tiny problematic nation who set this play for Trump all along

WTF? What kind of American are you? There are no kings in America! It's kind of a core principle.

I don’t mind the thought of a king, the uk is certainly in a better place than we are. I’d like to think a king would have booted trump a long time ago.
But trump and his illegal war? That I am NOT ok with and no one I know is.

I just can't. This war is only illegal because America doesn't believe in kings or the concept of hereditary nobility.

Yeah. You are definitely not American. You are spewing total BS.

And the UK does haven't a "king" with real power -- it's a vesitigial set-up. The UK royal family is not above the law the way Trump wants to be and apparently is for the time being -- Epstein files are a case in point.

British royalty play almost no role in the governance of their country.

Funny how protecting racist settlers might bring down the Crime Minister. Hopefully, he holds out long enough for IDF soldiers to AWOL or mutiny. Then maybe the entire state can collapse because most of the jewish population there are protected snowflakes just like the Epstein class.

IDF chief warns of ‘collapse’ as Israel delays ultra-Orthodox draft – media

The Israel Defense Forces is “on the verge of collapse” due to acute personnel shortages, Chief of Staff Eyal Zamir has warned, according to local media. Opposition parties have accused Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s government of stalling on drafting ultra-Orthodox Jews.

Addressing the cabinet on Wednesday, Lieutenant General Zamir said he was “raising ten red flags for you before the IDF collapses,” as quoted by The Jerusalem Post.

In a post on X on Thursday, Israeli opposition leader Yair Lapid, a former prime minister and foreign minister, warned that the “IDF is stretched to the limit and beyond.”

Not just the army , the whole infrastructure of the country snd Netanyahu himself collapsed. They’re censoring it all, hiding the death count, and trapping their people so they can’t move or travel all for the longest serving leader in the Middle East, Benjamin Netanyahu. It’s still a democracy though.. Netanyahu predates every single Middle eastern leader of today especially now that Bashar al Assad and Ayatollah are killed/exiled.

The only safeguard is that Trump thinks soldiers are suckers and losers so would have no problem "saving face" by sending ground forces in to storm a small island.

Or maybe stop watching Disney cartoons if you're serious.

These Israeli unhinged psychos are now bombing Iranian nuclear sites. Everyone in the world wants this conflict to end except the Israelis and now everyone will have to suffer because of it.
