How did they get that knife from whichever dangerous terrorist? See minute 31 of the video. We are lucky the the cap police didn't have more deaths and injuries.
So disgusted watching this. How horrible it must have been for the cops. They really had to be fearing for their lives. |
Minute 40. Watching the terrorists gain access near the tunnel horrifying. They begin lobbing items at the police. Those men parading around with flags of their false god - the orange toad.
So disgusted. |
Minute 1:31. Who is the jerk in the suit trying to fly? |
There’s a reason several killed themselves after the fact. To understand the fascism in the GOP? To have had that turned personally against you? And I am given to understand that several of them were Republicans; I think it would be especially hard to be personally confronted with the violence and moral bankruptcy of your political party. I’m still waiting for justice to be done. |
We’re lucky that the Capitol Police fought as valiantly as they did, and that amazing officers like Eugene Goodman exist. |
That pardon isn't going to cover any new indictments. And how does he think there's executive privilege? Only the sitting president can affirm executive privilege and that ain't Trump. |
To quote the Hal Holbrook’s character from All the President’s Men: “Forget the myths the media's created about the White House. The truth is, these are not very bright guys, and things got out of hand.” And also they thought they had sufficiently rigged enough, that this would succeed and that they would be the fascist government going forward. |
A pardon is an admission of guilt and does not expunge the felony. He is still a convicted felon. He can still stand trial for the new felonies he committed and is possibly on the hook for any three strikes violations. |
Me too. Frankly I feel like justice is actively keeping her eyes closed and refusing to pick up the scales. Makes me sick. |
