League games. Not much you can do about those but I’d say GC and the Heights could compete with Episcopal.

Episcopal who came in last place in the IAC last year beat PVI who ended up in 2nd place in the WCAC.

WCAC is a big-time football and basketball conference, stop trying to pretend it's a big-time lacrosse conference because it has 2 teams that can compete on the big stage now. (Gonzaga and SJC)

Unfortunately IAC doesn’t have any ready to play on big stage this year.

All WCAC teams would compete against St. Albans and Episcopal

This is the most ridiculous comment ever. There are only 5 teams in the WCAC that can compete with these two. O’Connell, Ireton, Ryken, MacNamara all have 2 club players in their entire programs. Good Counsel has 1 commit and just 3 club players. The bottom WCAC teams have fallen under drastically.

Only the top 5 (SJC, Gonzaga, PVI, DeMatha, Heights) would keep such a game interesting.

SJC has a tough schedule (its first 3 games are a brutal stretch plus Hill Academy from Canada on 3/25) but the SJC boosters really need to pump the breaks here.

I see 6 teams on this schedule who probably wouldn't win a game in the IAC. (Ryken, O'Connell, The Heights, Bishop Ireton, Good Counsel).

Good Counsel would get smacked by Episcopal. The Heights would probably beat EHS by 2-3 goals, but would be close.

Episcopal lost their star attackman to prep, and are falling under the water.

Has the Heights ever played an IAC team other than St Albans who in the past 7 years has been dreadful.

Episcopal is tricky to get a read as it’s a boarding school. some years they are pretty damn good, last year they were pretty solid. And then some years, they are pretty ordinary. Hard to recruit kids from this area to EHS unless you truly want to go boarding.

Landon and Bullis. Lol

Gonzaga and DeMatha will crush them. If they play of course. DeMatha beat the senior loaded Bullis team last year.

Comparison by seeding

#1’s SJC>GP
#2’s PVI>Landon
#3’s GZ=Bullis
#4’s DM<SSSAS
#5 Heights> EHS
#6 GC<STA

Top WCAC better than top IAC, but #6 Good Counsel is far below any IAC team.

DeMatha graduated 9/10 starters from last year. They are the the team that lost a senior loaded class.

IAC dads are delusional.

Some early games to prove who is stronger.

SJC vs Prep
Gonzaga vs Landon

Expect WCAC to win both.

Episcopal was so solid that they lost to St. Albans last year.
