They benefit from advertising CCL. With one team per age group and NCSL, they become a lot closer to Gunston in scope |
Every club advertise what they believe what makes them unique. Good God, grow up. |

Hi we’re Lee Mount Vernon Sports Club, 90% of our teams have a losing record in CCL. Would you like to come play for us?
The “higher” the league, the more it costs via league fees. Higher league fees means they can charge parents more money to be in an exclusive league. I have no idea how we stayed in CCL. We were missing six teams last year, and our record was very poor. I wouldn’t be surprised if we’re missing seven teams this year. |
And yet you signed up for it. Apparently your kid isn't good enough to be difference maker. I really don't understand parents like you. You're not guaranteed anything in competitive sports. Sorry your team and club at the CCL level are losing. If your best answer is to drop the whole club down to NCSL so that your team can win games then you are doing sports wrong. If you want to win then just find a winning team and see if your kid can make the roster. Go to GotSoccer Rankings and find the team for you. You are making life harder than it needs be. |
I notice you can’t say anything objective about the club. JN? LC? LB? I think JN. Hey, JN. The current environment isn’t good, why can’t we adjust? Why can’t we play NCSL, is it too easy? Do you want to see the record of our red teams in NCSL, or, our tournament/showcase records against non-CCL teams? |
Because I'm not making any judgment about the club. I'm not making any judgement about you either. I'm taking your unhappiness at face value. You are unhappy. There is a simple solution, leave the club. Not everyone needs to be unhappy for your unhappiness to matter to you. You don't need to attack a club in hopes of "destroying it" if you don't like it there anymore. You don't need cancel LMVSC when all you have to do is leave quietly. That they play in CCL isn't a scandal. Losing isn't a scandal. All that should matter to you is if your kid is having fun, learning and improving. If those things are not being met, regardless of the reason then you should just leave and find a better fit. If I get crappy service at a restaurant I either sort it out on the spot or I don't go back. I don't make a scene about it. The business does not need to bend to MY will. They can do their best to right a situation but if they don't to my satisfaction then I just don't go back. I also don't feel the need to try and save others from going there either. Perhaps they had a bad day or perhaps I was the one who had a bad day and was out of line and unfair. There are lots of soccer clubs, lots of leagues, lots of coaches. Be an adult. |
lol ok. I pay fees for a service over the course of a year for my child’s future. Not a meal. How about the business cater to its members? Because I don’t think you want to take a pay cut. |
At the end of the season if your kid didn't have fun, improve then you don't go back. Again, not hard. |
| Paying a fee for your child's future? Are you expecting them to be a scholarship athlete? If so you should have moved clubs long ago |
| I think I’ll make that call early, stuck around for 2019-2020 thinking it would get better. Felt like a wasted year. |
I bet the feeling is mutual at your club. |
I don’t want to mince words: LMVSC doesn’t care about my child. That’s been very clear to me. |
Nobody here does either. Change clubs and go away. You are boring. |
| This whole thread only proves one thing. This forum isn't a place for facts. People can post what they want without any fact check. Its just trolls trolling trolls. |
No it is a fact that nobody on this forum cares about this kid. |
