I like Melania Trump. I don't care that she posed for semi-nude pictures DECADES ago. Many people have done things in their past that they wouldn't be proud of today. I like the woman she seems to be - quiet, reserved, and dignified. And also warm and sweet with children. Give this woman a break. Nothing she could do would please you, so why not try just leaving her alone. |
I think she's extremely shy. -DP |

She's not too shy to give birther interviews. |
Correction: liberals care about Gold Star Families they can use for political points. |
|
Most people care about families who have lost loved ones in service to their country.
I'm not a huge fan of war or our foreign policy in general, but I would never speak poorly of a gold star family. I just really hope Melania is actually OK. |
We didn’t vote for the traitor who mocked Gold Star Families. And one would think that a Gold Star Family event would involve press. Maybe they don’t want us to see Melanie or Donnie’s notes about how to meet standards of basic human decency? |
If she is an abused spouse now, what makes you think she did those of her free will? |
For a 5,-time draft dodger tomeet with families of soldiers who have even served in the US armed forces is an insult; for him to meet with Gold Star families is an abomination. As for his soft-core porn model gold-digger wife, I don't care where she is as long as the US taxpayer doesn't have to pay extra to protect her if she chooses to live outside the White House. |
You are free to deny her agency, if you think that's right. I don't. |
The Military loves Trump. https://www.militarytimes.com/news/pentagon-congress/2017/10/23/military-times-poll-what-you-really-think-about-trump/ While almost 48 percent of enlisted troops approve of Trump, only about 30 percent of officers say the same, the poll shows. Compare to Obama’s: More than half of troops surveyed in the latest Military Times/Institute for Veterans and Military Families poll said they have an unfavorable opinion of Obama and his two-terms leading the military. About 36 percent said they approve of his job as commander in chief. Their complaints include the president’s decision to decrease military personnel (71 percent think it should be higher), his moves to withdraw combat troops from Iraq (59 percent say it made America less safe) and his lack of focus on the biggest dangers facing America (64 percent say China represents a significant threat to the U.S.) https://www.militarytimes.com/news/2017/01/08/the-obama-era-is-over-here-s-how-the-military-rates-his-legacy/ Troops responding to the Military Times/IVMF poll saw years of defense budget fights as the largest blemish on Obama’s presidency. Two-thirds said spending caps enacted in 2011 have had a very negative effect on military morale, and another 28 percent said it was harmful to a lesser extent. Fewer than two percent saw the budget caps as a positive for the military. If you go to link you’ll see Obama was unpopular with Military and the Military thinks Obama’s politics and policies hurt the mission and morale. |
Yes, she engages in birther conspiracies and her opulent lifestyle “for the children.”
|
You mean the delusional man who thought his family was not being used by the Democratic Party? |
Could it be the demographics of the military and their spouses skew strongly toward those of Obama's race? |
As an extremely shy person i agree. I can spot someone from my own tribe. |
