What the hell? Her status-lying, visa-abusing, chain-immigration using, lazy, secretive self got surgery at Walter Reed -
which rightly should only be treating our veterans - so that her useless ass gets de-fatted, and that’s cool? How is it that Melienia Trump is apparently the first person in history to require days of hospitalization and weeks of convalescence for something typically taking one hospital day and three days of rest for everyone else?

Liberals are such lovely people, eh?

How do you know PP is a Liberal? I am a true Conservative and I am embarrassed by Melania and her do-nothing-but-spend-tax-payers-money approach to being First Lady.

PP is definitely a liberal. As are you.

Conservatives must all participate in groupthink in lock-step with each other or else their conservative credentials will get yanked and they'll be tarred and feathered by the conservative powers that be. For reference, see John McCain after the ACA repeal vote.

The interweb and Twitterverse are in two very on strong camps about what happened to Melania. One is plastic surgery. And the second is . . . not good. But if I post random speculation with no basis in fact, Jeff will— correctly— yank my post. Because it is all random gossip as far as I can tell. So google if you care. It doesn’t take Sherlock Holmes to track down.

Actually, there is a third camp— speculations about domestic violence that explain the kidney injury, and keeping her away from Trump, and keeping her out of sight while bruises heal. I only point this one because I give it zero credibility. I wouldn’t put it past Trump, but she lives with the secret service in a WH that leaks like a sieve. No way something progresses that far without SS intervention.

She isn’t telling the whole story, and I don’t like the lying. I also think it hurts her in a WH that has a huge credibility problem. I do think the WH would have been well within its rights to say that Mrs. Trump had a medical condition that required hospitalization, and appreciatied the country’s respect for her medical privacy. She’s not POTUS. She doesn’t owe the country an explanation. But if she is going to give an obvious lie just makes people ask what she is hiding.

I feel bad for her. I don’t know how you live through the humiliation of the details of your husband’s sexual infidelity become a massive public scandal. I felt bad for Hillary when it happen with Bill. I feel bad for Melania.

Give her a break on Walter Reed. She’s a secret service protectee. Very hard to protect her person or her privacy in a functioning hospitall unless you want to shut part of it down and massively inconvenience all the other patients. It is much easier to control access and keep treating other patients at Walter Reed.

No one has any right to anyone else’s medical conditions, diagnosis, treatment, plan of care, medication, or injuries.

What do you people not understand about that?

Sorry. I thought all the speculations about Hillary's health applied equally to Melania. Apparently not, because Trumps are entitled to hypocrisy.

WOW. You are really a piece of work, insinuating that Trump somehow did something to her but then coyly saying you give that theory "zero credibility" but that also, you "wouldn't put it past" him. Nice way to get that out there though!

She had kidney surgery, and perhaps it was more extensive than the public has been told. Because, you know, that's her private business.

People speculated about Hillary because she was filmed collapsing and being thrown into a van under a shroud of secrecy after coughing horribly for weeks to the point that she could barely speak.

The WH announced Melania’s procedure and hospitalization.

Huge Hillary supporter here. Hillary was running for President and, thus, people were entirely entitled to speculate about her health as part of the inquiry into her fitness for the presidency. Granted the speculation was completely loopy and certain news media promoted wild, entirely unfounded stories, but that's part of the presidency Melania isn't running for anything, and no one is entitled to know anything about her health.

What was with all that 'expert' diagnoses of Hillary's health then?

Sure, you were a "yuuuge" Hillary supporter. But people still speculate on her health long after she has ceased running for president. And any illness Melania has carries a heightened risk of being communicable to the president. But, Trumps have the best innoculation there is: Hypocrisy. Keep on injecting it!

Anybody think this was a breakdown of somesrt?

Melania who?

So why isn't the American public entitled to a fair assessment of Donald's health?

What we have are two 'doctors" who have clearly given false reports, one of which was admitted to be penned by Donald himself.

+100

The people criticizing Melania are some of the ugliest - (talking personality here) - posters on DCUM. Really vile people.

I am proud to be ugly and vile, as you so nicely put it.

Melania went on tv supporting her lying husband’s contemptible birther accusations against our first black president.

And she’s spent millions of taxpayer money to stay in NYC while her husband moved to DC.

She’s supported and stood by the most corrupt president in our history.

She may have worked illegally when she first arrived in the US.

She deserves no sympathy. If that makes me vile, then you’ve just changed the definition of the word into honest and truthful.

No, I think it was yet another Donald-ordered plastic surgery.
