I'm amused by the pretzel logic that Republicans are using to stand by their guy. Paranoid conspiracies, twisting biblical passages, and demanding "proof" of the allegations. "Fake News" and questioning the Post's investigating (even though the allegations are supported by about 30 pepole).
You're guy -who was charged with upholding the law and held positions of trust-is a pedophile. You're not entitled to "proof". You didn't wait for "proof" before criticizing Weinstein and others as "liberals" who engaged in sexual assault. Many threads about that and about whether Democrats "condone" such behavior from liberals. You own it. You own Moore. And if you place his election ahead of these allegations, you are not the part of "family values" or morals. You haven't been for a long time but this cements it. Party over integrity. Just pick up your 20 pieces of silver and be done with it. |
+1 The GOP is no longer the party of family values, of strong fiscal responsibility or any other attributes espoused by Ronald Reagan. The GOP is now the part of defending pedophiles, blowing up the budget and codifying an Oligarchy in the mold of Putin's best Russia. |
| The NYT has dug up a series of cases where Moore took bizarre stands on the side of rapists, pedophiles, and assaulters. |
Agreed. Dotards, go obsess over Bill in a new thread. |
So disgusting. |
Oh wow. Gross! |
Even if that is all true, what has that got to do with Roy Moore being a pedophile and conservatives excusing it? Why is it hard to say I hate what happened for decades AND I hate this Moore guy representing me? |
|
Well, Republicans have clearly shown who they are. |
Let me guess.. he thinks these kids and women seduced these poor unsuspecting men. This makes me so disgusted. How are these men any different than the so-called backwards Muslims they claim are evil. |
| The man wears a shiny leather vest. Just saying. |

Conservative Christians of Alabama = American Taliban

| Moore is spinning this as a “spiritual battle.” Scumbag. |

Misdirection. Either it is true or it's not. Given the bulletproof nature of the story, I believe it is true. The same newspaper published plenty of critical investigative work about the Clintons and Obamas. |
