That isn't the slightest bit true. Emory is a huge med school feeder and the CDC is literally on their campus. I have no affiliation to either university but I'm an academic physician and have recently served on a medical school admissions committee. |

| Emory is far better. Period. |
| Uh oh Emory boosters are loose again. Even if you like Emory more, “far better” is a hyperbole. |
| WashU and Emoey are very similar, however overall Emory is a more well rounded school. If you want to go medicine, business, humanities, or interdisciplinary than Emory is better. Also the location, puts it over the top compared to WashU. |
lol what a joke. emory sucks and is not more well known |
emory doesnt even have engineering and is less selective for a reason |
i feel like the emory vs washu waitlist decision post was a false flag a more apt comparison would be emory vs george washington. two overpriced privates |
| Both are good. In very different towns. |
Because one of the best engineering schools in the country is literally next door. |
Yes it is. By a lot too. |
And washu isn't overpriced? |
Emory- 1510/34 WashU- 1530/34 Not much difference there, Emory also has more students report test scores as well, and a lower acceptance rate. So, Emory is likely more selective. |
| And Wash U famously and shamelessly manipulates its admission and yield rates to appear more selective than it actually is. |
It’s funny Emory displays stats of admitted students in its class profile page instead of enrolled so as to inflate its perceived selectivity, something no other school does. |
