Agree. There is no way in a million years that Harris will win. Anyone who believes this for a minute has never been out of the DMV bubble. 🙁

+1 right? They should run this ad. I love it!!! She should debate him, and say something like, I'm used to debating against criminals. I've had years of experience.

Let me guess - your student loans were forgiven? Success!! You live in Georgia and got an extra "stipend" right before the Senate run off? Success!

Let me guess - you got a tax cut that was much smaller than what the billionaires and corporations got in 2017? Oh, and then, it's going to be clawed back over the next several years! Success!

Hit a nerve, huh? Well - you no doubt spent your freebies already. Good luck with that.

There's no way you bait someone with agro comments and then surprised when someone responds aggressively. I hate this forum's gotcha energy. DP.

Yep, Obama does not endorse Harris!

Civil war to come. This is not good. Should be unified around Harris to have a chance to win. If there is fighting around pushing out Harris, party is doomed!

I suspect those who bleat "DEI" also had no problem voting for a VP who needed five mediocre colleges and six years, just to get a communications degree.

Funny how you can be some GED felon and get votes from the same people who think Justice Jackson is a "DEI" hire. But sure, no racism involved in your thought-process while we see the buffoons who get elected on the right.

Defending DEI and blasting its critics mindlessly as “racist” is just not the centrist platform the Dems need right now to turn this election around.

It isn't about defending it, it's about pointing out the extremely low standards required of WHITE politicians on the right while in the same breathe as calling anyone non-white a "DEI" hire.

That you called it "mindless" when anyone with even two, functioning brain cells can see the racism from those who attack it, is your limitation.

The same people who think Boebert is qualified to be in Congress, think Jackson has no business being on the SC, despite the fact that she is more qualified than several of her white counterparts. Tough sh*t if you can handle the glaring hypocrisy from the right. We all see it. The Obamas had to be the "Huxtables" while Trump could get away with being Bill Cosby. Spare me your inability to see the cancer of racism being the entire reason someone as disgusting as Trump IS the Republican party. That stupid man wouldn't know the constitution if Madison used puppets to explain to him. The moment he used racism was the moment he galvanized the party. Mediocrity for one race, rules the GOP and has for a long time. It's why someone as unqualified as Dubya became president. It's why a moron like Palin got to be a nominee. The GOP has NO standards.

Boebert was voted into her current position. Harris couldn't even win a primary for President. How will they credibly argue she can win swing states?

I don't think Harris can win. I'm the one who said I dislike her. I simply don't like her, but that doesn't change the fact that the GOP is a f***ing joke when they talk about "DEI" when their party is full of people who are the reason dry cleaning bags read: "This is not a toy." Where in the hell does ANY Republican get the nerve to talk about "DEI" with the morons they elect and nominate? Dubya was a C/D student who got into two of the most prestigious universities in the world. Palin was an idiot.

The GOP doesn't get to mention "DEI" when they vote for ACTUAL affirmative action candidates.

It's now up to the coup plotters who stabbed Biden in the back to make sure Harris has the support she needs. Get to work.

Harris will always be herself - which is a bad temper, no manners, ill fitting pantsuits and faux pearls. The "face" she puts on for the public is who she is. She will never get the votes with it.

Clearly. That's why you and the trumpers are running around on social media rn like chickens with your head cut off.

That’s how deliriously happy people react. Dems are so busy being offended and enraged about stuff they don’t recognize pure joy when they see it.

I honestly don’t understand the deliriously happy reactions. The guy you were beating just stepped aside. I would think they’d want him to stay in the race.

Biden was the highest performing opponent in those polls.

No, he wasn't. Trump would prefer Biden. It's a known entity.

That’s been his entire focus over the past 4 years.

+1 what personal aspect of Harris' life will Trump go after? How she's not a "real American", unlike his immigrant wife who used chain migration to bring her communist parents to the US?

Exactly.
“F Joe Biden!”
“Sleepy Joe”
“Let’s Go Brandon”
“Hey, he’s out! Hell yeah! Back to your basement sleepy Joe!”

“Ok. Now what…?”

She laughs, apparently. That's her problem

I’d like to see her in a debate say something like, “At least Joe didn’t have to pick a new VP candidate, because unlike in your case his supporters didn’t try to have me hanged”.

Don’t fool yourselves. The GOP has the dark money to spend gathering intel and workshopping messages on all the Democrats, but they’d have that to go on any Democrat.

It’ll be a fairly quiet few days and then the right wing will begin disseminating their talking points to their online army and then there will be some talking point. They used up a bunch during the 2020 primary season, but they’ll be organized about it.

Let’s see it for what it is and ignore it. President Biden has urged us to unite behind VP Harris and I am going to. The GOP is posing the end of America, and while their drooling followers applaud it (while telling us it’s not the GOP’s agenda at all), we must oppose it. That way lies birth control banned, NOAA unfunded and no more weather forecasts, “illegal immigrants” rounded up (but more likely just brown people), and a destroyed government.

People also Love saying that young people hate Harris. Name a presidential candidate that young people overwhelmingly support that wouldn't immediately lose.

? Young people I know love Harris.

She's very unpopular with young people and progressives because of her prosecution record. I don't know a single person who thinks of Kamala other than "Copmala"

Republicans like the “hit a nerve” pp are frequently surprised that not everyone shares the same myopic right wing views. I think they honestly don’t understand how snowed they are by right wing propaganda.

Ohhhh no it's not - not in evangelical circles. And I don't think Trump surrogates will be able to stay away from the issue. Trump/MAGA already have a problem with women. This is not going to help. Can you imagine Donald Trump choking out the words that's it's perfectly fine for women to make the choice not to have children. Not to mention the evangelical reaction to that. Very rock and a hard place position here.

Let's see what the polls say. The pollsters need to be rolling out polls showing Biden vs. Trump, Harris vs. Trump, Newsom, Whitmer or whatever the hell other name they trotted out there.

If Biden vs Trump still is the top one then everyone who called for Biden's ouster needs to be kicked out of the DNC or any other position of leadership. If NONE of them beats Trump in polling then likewise they are idiots who need to be kicked out of any position of leadership.
