This debate is likely the culprit. Sitting there for 90 hours debating this fact and screwing it up. |
I don't think a string would be strong enough, but a cargo net could work. They would likely need to strap modified headlamps onto the orcas since their audio/pinging ability is good but may not be quite good enough since the water is so dark at these depths! |
SH*T! What if the controller is inverted? Do we know who set it up before they put it in the sub? |
wow i can't read that tiny print. Guess it Cuvier's beaked whale. |

Why does this fascinate me? I think its because I've never even pondered deep sea exploration. Who knew they took people down to look at the Titanic? I sure didn't know that.

They're like the introverts of the ocean. My husband would be a Culiver Bearded Whale and would enjoy the silence and solace.
Also, what did you do as a kid in a pool? You figured out how long you could hold your breath and when your ears started to pop, yes? |
That’s what makes the most sense but the alleged tapping sound throws that theory out. So either the tapping is something else or wasn’t ever really there or they didn’t implode from a breach because they couldn’t be tapping if their vehicle imploded them |
