Sex is repulsive

Do him a favor and leave.

Why do women marry men they aren't even attracted to?

Yep, and he/she probably has a spouse that finds their mate's perspective a challenge. "I am going to change them."

For a man to marry a women like this, its all about the power dynamic. They are in control of their sexual bodies as well as hers. Even though you know this person does not like sex, because it is a "requirement" in a marriage, it must be done. Control.

For a woman to marry a women like this, she has seriously settled. She will seek pleasure elsewhere.

They often are attracted at the time. Then the novelty wears out, hormones change with age and children, and the men possibly become less attractive.

This doesn't fit with this scenerio. The OP thinks that sex is repulsive. There was no sexual attraction from the beginning unless there was serious sexual trauma during the relationship.

No, it's not. Very few things I'd rather be doing.

PP here, the reality is that many people are deceptive, and settle in relationships hoping things will change for "their" better.

Ever consider that maybe you're asexual?

I felt the same way until I realized that asexuality was a real thing. Before then, I spent my life either feeling incredibly broken because I didn't feel the same as my peers towards my SO, or completely repulsed when I forced myself to have sex because that's what you are supposed to do in a relationship.

I'm so sorry you feel that way. Maybe some type of therapy could help? I was in a therapy group a few years ago (for a depression issue), and there was a couple who hadn't had sex in over a year, and just the distance it was causing in their entire relationship was heartbreaking. I still wonder if they were able to solve the problem and if they are still together.

Why are you all assuming OP is a woman?
