Yes, you shouldn't "have to" tell him this. But with your firm guidance, he will learn, and obey.

But it's sooo much easier to get a high value guy when I feign initial passion, which isn't that hard in the early NRE stages.
Then later, when I get sexually bored of him, I can pull out trump cards like "he stopped wooing me", or "my emotional burden" or some other irrefutable complaint.
